Greetings!
My name is Elisabeth G. Biggs. I’m the writer, reader, and occasional mastermind behind The Key of E. All my life I have loved everything about books and the stories they hold. To quote one of my favorite authors, C. S. Lewis:
“In reading great literature I become a thousand men and yet remain myself. Like the night sky in the Greek poem, I see with a myriad eyes, but it is still I who see. Here, as in worship, in love, in moral action, and in knowing, I transcend myself; and am never more myself than when I do.”
While I primarily write fiction and fantasy, I will read just about any genre of book (as long as it’s well-written!). Currently, I’m working on a six-book series called Chronicles of the King. I’ve learned so much while working through each story. It truly has been quite the adventure!
I also love music, as it’s been a huge part of my life. I’ve dabbled in composition, though I have more fun listening to songs than making them. For me, music and writing come hand in hand. One you experience with your eyes, the other with your ears. And, in the words of Hans Christian Anderson,
“Where words fail, music speaks.”
However, that’s not where my creative affections stop. I also find joy in art, photography, movies, and games—all of which require more time and space to expound upon than this About page offers. Which is one of the reasons why I’ve decided to start The Key of E. While most of the things I post will be about writing (as that is my primary passion), I also plan to occasionally share reflections and reviews on other various topics.

Are You A Treasure-Seeker?
I believe that there is treasure everywhere, if only one has the eyes to see and acknowledge it. Sometimes it’s hidden behind a door, or deep in a dragon-guarded cavern, or buried where X marks the spot. That treasure can change the world. I’m going to find it, and I would love for you to join me on this quest.
