Welcome to les underdressed
Hi everyone,
I’m Sylvie Mus, I’m a Rwandan born stylist from Helsinki. I’ve been living and working in Paris since 2021 as a stylist and creator. I began my styling career in 2017 and have recently transitioned into wardrobe styling, which will be the focus of this newsletter.
The name ‘les underdressed’ (the underdressed) comes from the feeling I had when I moved from Helsinki (where I often felt overdressed) to Paris where I suddenly found myself feeling underdressed with my less is more approach to fashion.
This newsletter for me will be a space where we can chat casually about style. I share my thoughts about Scandinavian and Parisian style and document the evolution of my personal style and taste. I also share more about my simplified approach to getting dressed while giving you recommendations and practical styling tips that I’ve accumulated over the years working as a stylist. I’ll also be sharing a bit about my life in Paris; Where I shop for clothes, where to make dinner reservation, art and where me and my Parisian friends like to hang out.
