I’m currently drafting a YA novella for my two teenage boys, full of floating sky islands, flying ships, leviathans drifting through the clouds, a red-headed teenage boy and his little sister. Will I publish it? I truly hope so. But, the realm of publishing is sometimes a mysterious and complicated place where bravery and cookies are needed in equal measure.
