What is Age with Attitude all about?
Hey there, and welcome.
If you’ve found your way here, there’s a good chance you’re not ready to drift quietly into old age.
You still want to wake up curious about the world and engaged in your own life.
You have a feeling there is still a lot more to build.
You’ll feel at home here if:
You want to stay strong enough to do the things you love.
You’re not ready to settle for “getting older” as an excuse.
You believe you’re never too old and it’s never too late.
You want to connect with fellow Smart Agers.
Who am I?
I’m a 70-year-old wife, mum, and grandma.
My background is in accounting, finance, and large-scale IT implementations—a professional life built around creating systems, bringing order to complexity, and improving performance.
Today, my curiosity is driven by one question:
What sustains a life as we age?
Why I write:
The internet is drowning in information on how to age well.
I’ve chosen a different approach.
I write from lived experience.
I pay attention, experiment, track what works and share what I learn as I figure it out for myself.
At 70, I’m testing with what it really takes to:
Stay Strong
Maintain the body that carries you.
Stay Sharp
Maintain the mind that helps you understand.
Stay Fully Alive
Maintain the capacity to be moved by life.
When you subscribe, you get to follow my journey as I:
Build strength and mobility in my seventies and beyond.
Experiment with movement as a way of life.
Keep learning and challenging my mind.
Use data to notice what is working.
Stay curious and fully engaged.
If this resonates, you’re warmly invited to join.

Stay Strong. Stay Sharp. Stay Fully Alive.
