Hi! 👋🏽 I’m Shaunté Ledger.
I'm a creative director, collage artist, and tarot reader. I’m also a shooting star stalker, moon ranter, and comet chaser while I'm at it. I'm originally from New York, where I left a piece of my heart and an ongoing grief for pizza by the slice. These days I'm rooted in Los Angeles with my Aussie husband, two black cats, and a gothic garden full of dark plants, statues, and gargoyles I call the Monster Garden.
I built sToRyDrOpS in September 2024 because I had over a hundred journals stacked up, a life in major transition, and a flicker I couldn’t shake: what if the gems buried in those pages could light the way for someone else? That flicker became a lighthouse.
sToRyDrOpS is for the ones in the middle of something. The ones between the life they had and the one they’re building. If you’re feeling little lost, a little lonely, and are still somehow making things anyway, you’re exactly where you should be.
I'm also making a tarot deck. The Tarot of Forgotten Stories is a surrealist collage deck that feels like stepping into a lucid dream. The archetypes exist in liminal spaces. Half in this world and half in another. Each card is a portal. A map for when you're no longer who you were, but not yet who you're becoming. She's headed to Kickstarter this Halloween. My favorite holiday. The perfect debut.
