Animation Pie is an online animation club, for anyone who wants to make things move! Each month you’ll be able to join a zoom session, where I’ll show you a new animation technique and share inspiring animators’ work. I’ll also share behind the scenes stuff about my own animation and illustration work, and share some freebies with you. You’ll be able to share work/connect with others in the Club.
You won’t need fancy kit or software - we use Stop Motion Studio, which is free or around £8 for the full version. Use your phone or tablet, and all techniques can be done at home - I’m a big fan of simple, hand made animation for everyone!

WHO AM I?
I’m Rachel Bevan Baker, an animator, illustrator and teacher. I’ve directed and art directed films for C4, BBC and S4C - you can watch my animation showreel here (the latest one was shortlisted for an Oscar!) I’ve got loads of educational experience - I teach Art part-time in high school, I’ve taught animation at Edinburgh College of Art, and have done countless animation workshops.
