Happy Traveler

After a very positive first encounter in the US. We chose Sixt for our European adventure. We rented the car in a modestly large city. Few people we encountered spoke English. Sixt rental staff spoke fluent English which is required. They were highly capable, thoughtful and offered a great selection of vehicles and reasonably priced upgrades.
Our car return to a massive international airport, went smoothly with excellent directions to the return site. Staff receiving the vehicle were quick, efficient and most notably asked about our flight gate which was very far away. Understanding the challenge of navigating our way, a staff member offered to guide us to our destination. This was service beyond expectations. We highly recommend Sixt and thank the Sixt employees we met along the way.

Based upon pre-visit emails, Bruno thoughtfully curated our perfect day in the Duoro Valley. We visited two small family owned wineries hosted by talented people who've been creating Port wine for generations. Both were wonderful, from the people to the Port to the table wines. A lovely private lunch was prepared by one of the owners and shared on the deck of her home overlooking her vineyard.
The day included stops at Lamego's beautiful cathedral, tasty pastries from a local coffee shop, photo ops, interesting stories about Portuguese history and personal stories about Bruno's experience with Port wine production. It was a great day. We highly recommend touring with Bruno!
