Great. Love Dolly better than regular delivery

Back when I used Dolly, I had good experiences with delivery services and the pricing was more transparent. With Taskrabbit, I was assigned movers with a van right away even though I’d asked for a pickup truck (cheaper). The bed frame was already disassembled, which I could have taken in my car, and the recipient assembled it. There were no stairs at either location. I did ask for the old queen mattress and box frame to be hauled away, maybe that accounted for the additional charge after the move was done. The movers themselves were fine but I don’t know how this got so expensive so quickly. There was a delay in pickup because the seller gave us the wrong address (not my fault). The movers were upset because I think they’d booked another job shortly after this one (again, not my fault).
The cost incurred has me thinking twice about using Taskrabbit again. It’s too bad, because I think Dolly was a good service when I used it. I could have hired guys with a truck from my community at a much cheaper flat rate.

They were on time! And very friendly! So easy to work with!!

The delivery driver dropped our items at the garage door and left without even knocking or notifying us that the delivery had arrived. Shortly afterward, Taskrabbit began flooding my phone with requests for a tip.

What made the experience even more frustrating was the complete lack of customer service. There was no apparent way to speak with an actual person, only automated systems that offered no meaningful assistance.

I find it unacceptable to be repeatedly asked for a tip when the most basic level of customer service wasn't provided. This was an extremely disappointing experience, and I will not be using Taskrabbit again.

Delivery driver was late, in a rush during the move, broke my tv stand.

Have still not received item. Still waiting, . . .

The driver was so nice and polite and put my items in my bedroom!!

They were fast and effective

One person showed up for a two-person job. Had to wait for 45 mins for second to show. Was also supposed to assemble the Ikea funiture, was told that they are not Task Rabbit and that that is task rabbit's job but nobody else showed up.

The delivery person asked the right questions to confirm the delivery was correct. The driver was polite.

The process was seamless. The delivery came at the estimated time and the person doing it moved a cabinet to the room, put on the legs and took away the box and styrofoam.

Michael and Shaq worked tirelessly to make sure our belongings were transferred to our 5th floor walk up in a safe and efficient manner. They were simply awesome and we would hire them again in a heartbeat!

My one order got double booked by the service.
I never got notified that this happened, not sure how they allow it to happen, so two people showed up for my order. One person delivered it but due to their cancelation policy I got charged twice.

Great difficulty arranging where to meet my driver. Web site rejected my attempts to designate a place. Cured by the driver’s enterprise. With a different driver, I might have had trouble.

Had no idea how to carry a simple box. Knocked it picture onto the floor. Never again!!!
