I never imagined I’d fall in love with WordPress.

Honestly, when I first joined @WPManageNinja as Head of UX, I saw WordPress mostly as a new challenge — a huge ecosystem that I was about to explore. I had no idea that this journey would become such an important part of my professional life.

Over time, every product, every problem, and every conversation taught me something new. I started experimenting more, learning from the community, and pushing myself to think beyond just design. Somewhere along the way, WordPress stopped feeling like “just work” and started feeling like a community I genuinely belonged to.

One of the moments that made this journey special was WordCamp Malaysia. In 2024, I had the opportunity to be there as a sponsor with @WPManageNinja. In 2025, I came back again — this time as an attendee. Two different experiences, but both gave me the chance to meet amazing people, share ideas, and experience the WordPress community beyond the screen.

Looking back, it’s incredible to see how far a simple career opportunity can take you.

What started as a challenge slowly became a passion.
What started as work became a community.
And somewhere along the way, WordPress became a part of my journey that I’m genuinely grateful for.
