Bio

I’m Kamran Abdul Aziz, a WordPress developer based in Mumbai, focused on building fast, stable and practical websites.

I work mainly with WordPress and WooCommerce, with a strong focus on performance, security and hosting infrastructure. Day to day that means server setup, caching, Redis, Cloudflare, VPS environments and technical troubleshooting.

In the project I contribute across Core, Core AI, Core Performance, Test, Playground, Hosting, Documentation, Openverse and Polyglots. In practice that is core patches and Trac tickets, plugin and handbook fixes, Hindi translations, and three plugins of my own in the directory.

I prefer simple, maintainable solutions that solve real problems and keep working over time.

WordPress Origin Story

I started using WordPress in 2008 while building a site with a friend. Curiosity turned into professional work.

I spent several years with Envato Studio, installing themes, configuring sites, and solving practical problems for clients, then moved fully into development, WooCommerce, hosting, and performance.

WordCamps changed how I engage with the project. My first contribution was merged during WordCamp Asia, and contributing has been a regular part of my work ever since.
