P.J. Curling Makes Comics

P.J. Curling is a middle-aged comic book writer and 2nd generation Irish-American and a 3rd generation artist. His grandmother, Kitty Curling, was an actress for Ireland’s national theatre company, and was twice named a cultural ambassador for the Free State of Ireland. His uncle, Peter Curling, is a well regarded artist, making his career painting horses at the races. P.J. lives in southeastern Massachusetts with his wife and their dog. They enjoy playing card games and traveling.

His writing career didn’t start until his 40s. Prior to writing, he worked as a warehouseman, firefighter, pharmaceutical warehouseman, community inclusion specialist, public address announcer, MMA matchmaker, web radio show host, clinical assistant, and sports commentator for football, soccer, ice hockey, MMA, boxing, pro wrestling and stock car racing. Oh yeah, and for a short period, he owned a semi-pro football team, and he’s an ordained minister (thanks to Monastery.org).

P.J.’s first full length comic book, Undisputed, is available now. It’s his love letter to professional wrestling and is for fans of Lucha Underground, Heels, Queen of Villains and 80s straight-to-VHS movies like Best of the Best. You can get it right now on his website, pjcurling.me.
