Good benefits, but workload support, leadership, and career advancement need improvement.
The good thingsThe benefits package is one of the company’s strengths, including HMO coverage, performance bonuses, and the Stock Purchase Plan. The company also provides a lot of training opportunities, which I found helpful in developing my skills and improving my knowledge.
The challengesThe recruitment process can take longer than expected, which may leave the team with existing members carrying the workload for an extended period. Unfortunately, in my experience, I joined a team where support from leadership was limited. The lack of guidance and resources made the workload challenging and eventually became exhausting. Career growth opportunities could also be more clearly defined and consistently supported. I took on responsibilities beyond my original role, but recognition and advancement came only after I raised concerns about my career progression. A more proactive approach to employee development and internal promotion would help improve the overall employee experience.
