What is Pesedjet?
Pesedjet is dedicated to recovering fragments of ancient knowledge and piecing them together to revive a lost understanding of the world and our place in it. Why? Because I believe the answers to today’s existential challenges already exist in the past.

The word ‘pesedjet’ is a fascinating ancient Egyptian term for a set of nine, which symbolises completeness, the principles of manifestation, and the process of transformation.

Pesedjet draws on three key streams of wisdom – ancient Egyptian philosophy, the Enneagram, and the intelligence of Nature – to offer a more integrated understanding of ourselves and how to live well in our world.
The Philosophy: Ancient Egypt – The most complete and advanced wisdom tradition to have survived from the ancient world, offering us a metaphysical understanding of the cosmos and our place within it.
The Tool: The Enneagram – Far more than a system for personality profiling, the Enneagram is a key that can unlock the esoteric teachings of Egyptian and other world wisdom traditions.
The Guide: Nature – By reconnecting with the Laws of Nature and the Earth’s intelligence, we uncover practical insights that address global challenges to help us realign with the natural order of life on Earth.

Hello, I’m Robert Hutchinson, and welcome to Pesedjet!
I’ve spent years exploring ancient Egyptian symbology and world wisdom traditions, drawn to the patterns of sacred geometry that shape our world. Since studying for a joint degree in Physics and Music, I’ve always been attracted to the interplay between art and science, reason and intuition, intellect and spirit, fact and mystery.
Since 2017, I’ve been immersed in the Enneagram as a tool for self-understanding, and as a symbol of universal structure and change. I’ve presented on the Enneagram and Egyptian symbology in Cairo, Europe, and online, always seeking fresh connections between ancient wisdom and modern life.
These ideas shape my coaching practice Authentic Life, where I help clients recognise and navigate their personality patterns so they can move forward with clarity and confidence.
Some of what I share here comes from my research, which uncovers new perspectives on the origins and meaning of the Enneagram – connecting ideas that have been overlooked, misunderstood, or never fully linked. Other posts will explore where we stand as a civilisation, and where we might go from here.
