ownCloud Web 12.5.0 is out. Save-As inside Collabora Online now actually works (PR #13906 closes a long-standing gap in the postMessage handshake). Plus a new lightweight HTML editor app for .html, .htm, and .xhtml files, an ownCloud-branded default login background, and a Playwright-driven screenshot tool for docs. Four bugfixes underneath, including a security-relevant .psec URL validation fix.

ownCloud Infinite Scale 8.2.0 RC1: OIDC group sync becomes opt-in and WebDAV error-detail leakage is closed

oCIS 8.2.0 RC1 out for testing. OIDC group sync now opt-in (behaviour change), WebDAV error-detail leakage closed, IDP login moves to server-rendered pages. Six security fixes, 43 bugfixes, 36 enhancements. This is a Release Candidate made for testing: Existing deployments that rely on OIDC-derived group membership will need to opt in explicitly after upgrade.

Two codebases just became one. The ownCloud Web frontend now lives inside owncloud/ocis under web/, all under Apache-2.0. One repository, one licence, one CI pipeline, one contribution surface. Years of contribution history preserved, everything moved into a single home. This is what the OSPO relicensing programme looks like when it reaches the core product.
