This Substack is a journal and letterdesk, and here you will find reflections from a slow, artful life cultivated in the busiest of cities, alchemized into writing. This is a women's space. Uncool, sexy, and tending the gardens of the feminine psyche. I share experiences, stories, love letters, diary entries and gentle nudges for slow living, romancing yourself, the feminine way and her mysteries, art, cooking, pleasure, sensuality and more… And sometimes, my life’s work in fashion and textiles comes crawling in.

I am an aesthete, sensualist, artist, designer and writer from Bombay, India. I engage with the world through art, fashion, textiles and design in my creative pursuits, and out in real life, I’m actively involved in working with the artisanal, handcrafted luxury heritage of my motherland.

I love to live a slow, delicious life of almost always daydreaming and romanticizing everything. I practice slow living that is aligned to revering and healing my feminine energy, in most spheres of my life.

My art, my work and my dreams are built upon a foundation of empowering artisanal Indian design heritage - beautiful things made by hand, in traditional systems of craft that have been nurtured in my culture for generations.

I love to cook, tend to my plants, read about astrology, practicing witchcraft, living in tune with the moon cycles, and letting myself - little by little - be magically yin in a world that’s far too yang for our own good.

The north star of my life these days is cultivating beauty, at all levels, and falling in love with being a woman.

You’re also invited to explore my shop for my creations and curations of handcrafted Indian sarees, slow textiles and my handmade ceramics.
