From bad to worse
I booked 3 tickets for Peter Kay live for the 3rd December 2022 yet when I got my confirmation email the tickets had been rebooked for the 26th January 2024. I contacted support and they said

To make sure that as many people as possible get tickets, we have allocated you tickets for the next available event date. The dates are confirmed before we request a payment, so I am sorry that you may have missed this at the time of purchase.
Luckily for me I took screenshots of each step of the booking process, each step showing the dates I booked. I sent these to Ticketmaster and the support has been woeful, they are very lucky to get 1 star.
Since the problem happened I have asked on 11 seperate occasions for a manager or supervisor to ring me rather than going back and forth wasting more and more time with emails. I havent had 1 update regarding a phone call, instead every request for one has been ignored.
To make matters worse a colleague from Ticketmaster took it upon themselves to void and refund the 3 tickets without my consent. Not only do I not get to see Peter Kay on the date I booked, I can now not see him at all.
The customer service is absolutely awful, they dont read what you are asking, they ignore questions, prolong the frustration and cause further stress.
I have seen numerous reports online indicating Ticketmaster are being sued by numerous artists and supporters due to their negligence.
Proof of all my communication with Ticketmaster as well as proof of the event I booked can be shared.
UPDATE - 01-12-2022 at 16:57
Hi Maeve, I was told an event manager would get in touch with me yesterday, this did not happen. I have had no update today either. The event I booked is on Saturday 3rd December. You are leaving this extremely late.
