I had so much fun exploring DC with my friends and i learned so much!
The experience was quite fun. 10/10 would go again.
It was well organized. It was worth every penny. My daughter had an amazing trip and cannot wait to go back on another world strides trip again!
My friends and the city of New York.
The tour guide was nice but very rushed with everything.
Our Washington DC tour was fun, informative and efficiently managed by our guide Nate. Friendly, knowledgeable and engaging with both students and adults. Kept our group informed and on time ensuring we didn't miss anything on our agenda. Fantastic trip thoroughly enjoyed by all.
I loved that I didn't have to worry about food, travel, lodging or even setting up tours. World Strides planned everything my only job was to make sure the kids made it back on the bus :)
The trip was a lot. While they got to do and see a lot the agenda was so stacked it was exhausting. Also, the behavior of the kids was fairly out of control and disrespectful and some behavior expectations could really help.
We really like our tour guide, he knew the area and locals. Made great suggestions and we ate authentic food. Could have used more free time to explore.
My son was part of a teacher led trip to Ecuador/Galapagos Islands. The location was wonderful. My poor review is about our experience with WorldStrides and their insurance company, which we paid an additional nearly $400 for. The initial leg to start the trip was severely delayed, leaving my son and his fellow travelers stranded in just one airport over 12 hours. Then, they had an extended layover in Texas which had them hanging out in a hotel for approximately another 36 hours. So, the trip was cut very short, they did not do excursions while on their delay nor did they have meals paid for (which was what we signed up and paid in advance for). My issue is the fact that WorldStrides made it very difficult just to get information on how to file a claim, as well as exhibited poor communication during the trip which is quite stressful for parents of teenagers traveling across the world. Then, on top of everything, the insurance company does not reimburse ANYTHING...nothing for lost excursions/time on the actual trip/meals/lodging....nothing. Even a partial refund would have prevented this poor opinion from forming in my mind as well as all of the parents of the other travelers. I do not recommend the travel insurance, it is a complete and utter rip off. I had even purchased the top line insurance.
It was an amazing experience! I had alot of fun. It was so neat to see how different everything is there verses here.
Our trip to D.C. was simply amazing.
I am so happy I got to experience this adventure.
My son and I will cherish the memories forever

WorldStrides provides a well-planned itinerary filled with meaningful educational experiences. Even after all these years, I still learn something new on every trip! One of the most rewarding parts is watching students connect what they have learned in the classroom to the history, government, and landmarks they experience in real life. Those moments make learning come alive in a way that simply cannot happen inside a classroom.
The tour directors and other staff are knowledgeable, organized, and committed to creating a safe and memorable experience for students. Transportation, hotels, meals, admission to attractions, and the many other details involved in traveling with a large group are carefully coordinated. If an unexpected situation occurs, WorldStrides provides dependable support and works to resolve it.
After so many years, I have developed great trust in WorldStrides and truly value our long-term relationship. Organizing student travel is an enormous responsibility, and it matters to have an experienced company working alongside you. I highly recommend WorldStrides to educators and families considering an educational trip. These experiences give students knowledge, memories, and connections that can last a lifetime.

We had an excellent time, and the places we visited were exemplary. Our guide, Miriam, was absolutely top-notch! Some of the hotel accommodations were completely unacceptable (particularly in Paris.)

The tour guides' knowledge was unbelievable, and the amount of experiences we were afforded in just 3 days was mind-boggling. There is no way we could have done all of that on our own.

This trip made me feel like I was cheated out of my money. I was barely able to see London and the places we were promised to stop at; we were given hardly any time. The tour guide had limited knowledge of the locations. Before the trip, there was an expectation set of how the trip would look, which was thrown out the window. The food was a huge issue, given the expectation of going out with fellow travelers in smaller groups. Still, it was limited to entire-group dinners that didn't feel culturally relevant. Professors also did not teach on the trip at all, to the point that no one other than staff knew they were professors. The buildup to this trip and the post-trip disappointment were truly sad, given the cost. I wish I had never wasted my time and money on this trip.

My son didn't stop talking about this trip for the whole summer and still recommends to his sister that she has to go. I felt completely safe with the staff, hotel set up, my son said the food stops were really good and the rooms were good. He did so much more than I thought he was going to do and was impressed that he was so energized about what they were going to do the next day. He is not usually this outgoing and excited and it made the amount of money we spent for this trip worth it.

The WA DC and NYC trip I was able to be a part of at the end of June 2026 was incredible. All organizers, chaperones, site coordinators, World Strides staff, and associated representatives were professional, experienced, informed, friendly, enthusiastic, helpful, and gracious. I have wanted to go on such a trip for many years, and am grateful I could participate this year. Bravo to the entire team that put this once-in-a-lifetime trip together for the students and others who were able to participate.
