Fast and very good

You guys did things for me I didn’t expect so my experience was a good one. And I signed up for the year so your not getting rid of me that easy

Super easy for a first timer. Uploaded my songs in minutes, clear steps, fair price for unlimited releases. Would recommend.

I have been using DistroKid (DK) for professional music content distribution for several years. I never use AI and I never lift samples from existing music as I've been a true music production professional since 1987.

There were past bumps where my music release did not reach a streaming platform, a service for which they are paid and it takes over a month to resolve.

The biggest issue was when DK recently removed my song release from all streaming platforms and from my music profile on their website over a bogus and fraudulent copyright claim about an element in my music track.

DK never disclosed whether the copyright claim was mistakenly reported by a human or AI.

DK never informed me, the author and artist, of their complete takedown of my song release after it had been promoted. After I discovered my song was missing everywhere and asked them about it, their response was very vague about some copyright claim without any specifics.

After asking for an explanation and waiting several weeks, the response was about some bogus and fraudulent copyright claim over some musical elements in my music. However, my original music content is completely created by myself personally as a pro multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, producer, sound engineer, arranger, songwriter.

First time user. Very intuitive and you offer a useful cross section of services.

I found it to be fast, easy, and thorough.

To start with, I did make a subscription to another distributor and for more than a month I have been trying to get one track on Spotify. They rejected it and told me I need to make small edits to be accepted. This small edit seems to be impossible to do, because their platform ignore my edits every time when I click on the submit button, so my track is rejected over and over again. I got frustrated and subscribed to your platform, and my track is already on Spotify within 3 days...

The services was very fast and smooth

Everything here is better than many other services. I will get my one complaint out of the way now. When uploading lyrics, they sometimes vanish after a week or a month. Why? I don't know.

NOW THE POSITIVES:
DistroKid gets it right every time. They publish to all the services and let you carry over plays, and credits. They let you upload lyrics and music videos all on the same platform. Many other services claim to charge less, but you get what you pay for.

My experience with DistroKid has been amazing! I just released my new single MAN NO RACE as GAVKIZH and it went live on Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok and all platforms very fast. Very easy to use, affordable and perfect for independent artists like me from Nigeria. I love that I keep 100% of my earnings. 5 stars - Highly recommended!

Easy navigation, everything looks straightforward even for a beginner like me.

I believe setting up an account is very overwhelming for a beginner. I almost just requested my money back. Also don't like all the add on requests inside the process. Each costing more and more. Come up with a package tiered rate system. I was frustrated going through all that. Hope it was worth it. Time will tell.
