No wonder delivery took a little longer than expected — when you create a product this good, demand is bound to skyrocket! Cyclowax has clearly raised the bar in chain waxing. Outstanding quality, a brilliant concept, and a product that truly delivers. Sometimes great things are worth waiting for. Highly recommended!

Great Product, and in the end that's what matters and why I invested in this.

Easy to use, high quality materials and just generally a user experience better than what I was hoping for. I have 2 chains I switch around and the additional pre-waxed chain I bought was perfect to get me started.

Loved the explainers on how to get started and the help I got from the support team, even for the basic stuff I felt bad to ask at first.

Honestly still very slow on the bike but can feel the marginal gains on a good day when descending with tailwind so I guess it works.

The white socks stay clean around the house! :-)

I switched to Cyclowax ahead of Badlands, 800 km of gravel through Andalusia, and I’m not going back after this!

I spent 1,5h to strip the factory grease, cleaning the pulley wheels, and doing the initial hot wax. After that, maintenance took almost no effort. During Badlands, I top up with the drip wax every few hundred kilometres and that’s it.

What sold me was the dust. On dry gravel roads my oiled chain turns into grinding paste within a day. With wax, the chain stayed dry and my SRAM Eagle Transmission ran quiet for the whole race.

I love the design of the performance wax kit and got to know them via socials, big fan of the content of the brand on Instagram.

Can highly recommend anyone riding long distances or a lot of gravel.

First, don’t believe the 1-star reviews. 99% of those are from people who pre-ordered and had not yet received their order yet.

Like many others, I pre-ordered Cyclowax's new chain waxing kit in April 2026. They said up front that orders would be shipped at a later date as mass production of the new product had just begun, and that the orders would be fulfulled in the order they were received. By August, I was getting the feeling I had been had. But, on September 4th, my new wax kit arrived (shipped to me in California from Las Vegas, NV).

It was definitely worth the wait! I waxed three chains quickly and easily using the system, much quicker and easier than my with my Silca wax kit. Just wrap the chain one of the spools, place the wax disc in the heater and put the spool on top. Press the button, and wait for it to beep when the chain is done. Remove the spool from the wax, put it in the drying slot, and insert the next spooled chain. Since the wax was already melted, so the next two waxing times were even quicker.

And, I have put several hundred miles on each of the waxed chains, and still going with that first wax session, with nothing but positive results.

Love this product and highly recommend it.

I've been a Cyclowax user from the very beginning, and the product has always been fantastic. Their latest release, the Performance Wax Kit, is another huge step forward though! On top of that, the guys behind this company are really friendly and approachable. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a smooth, clean drivetrain!

Fantastic product – well worth the wait!

The heater works brilliantly and looks amazing. I had to wait a little longer than expected, but it was definitely worth it! The wax is also incredibly easy to remove from the heater, which makes the whole process even more convenient.

I’m so happy with the product that I’m already planning to buy some extra wax tablets. Highly recommended!

Ordered in May, been getting the runaround from Lucy and Jakob for a couple months with a succession of promised delivery dates that all came and went with no shipment and a litany of increasingly flimsy excuses each time. At this point they aren't even replying to messages anymore, and there's no indication the order will ever ship.

Don't waste your time, I ordered 11th July for delivery in August. August came and went. Contacted multiple times with regards to my order and they kept stating that I would receive tracking information when it was dispatched but couldn't offer any other information on when that would be. Waited most of September before contacting again now can't guarantee that I'd get it before October. Just cancelled my order for a refund, which I'm still waiting for. They are still taking orders but clearly can't fulfil orders from 3 months months ago??? Complete sham.

I'm loving my Cyclewax Performance Wax Heater, so easy, no mess, no fuss, clean chain! I highly recommend it!

Ordered performance wax kit over 2 months ago back at the beginning of July, was assured it would ship by the advertised August 31st cutoff date. Reached out to Cyclowax on August 26th, and they immediately created a shipping label the next day, but no item was ever sent to the carrier. It's now been 3 weeks since the shipping label was created and the carrier still hasn't even received the product.

Don't waste your money with this company, the product doesn't exist and they are making false promises to customers. Get a Silca wax kit and be done with it. Will try and get a refund (good luck to me) at this point.

As many others, I have risked ordering the performance wax heater kit in July.

At the point of order, the product page was advertising it to ship in the same month. However, I have not received anything, nor any status update regarding my order. The estimated shipping date on the product page kept moving to August, then September. Recently, the product page was removed entirely.
There is a separate preorder page, showing the next batch would ship in October at this point of time.

I keep getting bombarded with Cyclowax advertising on all social media sited and have commented on one of the Instagram ads. According to a response from Cyclowax, "the outstanding exsting orders [are] scheduled for dispatch by August 31."
Of course, this date went by without any change.
