I’m Lisa, a former Creative Director and recovering people pleaser (literally no one was pleased) learning how to love my authentic self and share her with the world.
I write about life with Long COVID—a chronic, multi-system condition and recognized disability—with the goal of raising awareness in a way that supports other long haulers on their own healing paths.

Themes include health & wellness, relationships, acceptance, slowing down, feeling our feelings, and whatever song is stuck in my head at the moment. My posts are mostly long form musings (pretty much like this), though they sometimes take shape as listicles based on my own personal experience—feel free to take ‘em or leave ‘em.

To me, writing is like talking it out with a dear friend. It not only helps me figure out what I’m feeling, but transmutes my experiences into something bearable, meaningful, and often joyful. I’m grateful to have this platform to explore and connect.
