Greetings!
Welcome to The Open Book, where I help writers grow through classic literature, tips of the craft, and honest reflections.
I want you to be able to write your dreams.
This blog is not only my senior project but my small way of trying to spread the word that reading and writing aren’t as hard as they’re knocked up to be.
Specifically, I’m writing to young people who think that they do not have enough experience to write.
Because I’m seventeen, and let me tell you: you can do it!
Let’s learn and grow in reading and writing… together.
Here, you’ll find advice, tips, and tricks that you can add to your reading and writing schedule today. No more putting stuff off until work is over, when the weekend comes, or when the school year ends.
Let’s read and write well, right now.
Schedule
Within the walls of this website you’ll find reading lists, book reviews, and resources to help you get back into reading and writing.
Tuesdays & Thursdays: Helpful tips that put reading and writing into easy framework to make it easy for you to implement it in your creative schedule.
What People Are Saying
I’ve been told that I’ve helped people be less afraid of their first drafts, get into the swing of “fast-drafting,” and outline the books in order to succeed in their novel-writing dreams.
People love to DM me to talk about their premises and ask for drafting advice… I’d love for you to do the same! I love chatting with aspiring writers like myself. :)
