About Kari Faux
What it dooo! I’m Kari Rose but you may know me as Kari Faux. For over a decade, I built a career as a music artist: touring, releasing records, and learning how to survive in an industry that often demands more than it gives back. Music gave me a platform, but over time, it began to feel more like a performance than a regenerative practice.
At the beginning of 2025, I made the decision to take a step back from the industry and restructure my relationship with music. I didn’t burn it down or throw it all away because the work I’ve done thus far is the source material for all that I will do. This decision is return to curiosity and storytelling.
So what is Lowkey Superstar?
Lowkey Superstar is an independent, artist-owned platform established to release, protect, and extend my creative work across music, visual media, and cultural programming.
It functions as a hybrid structure: a single-artist release vehicle, a sync-focused catalog company, and a cultural institution in formation.
In short, I really just wanna make dropping music fun again for myself and those who support me.
