Late Filing is a London-based style and culture newsletter by me, Fedora Abu. I write about contemporary life through the lens of a 30-ish woman in media, with a particular interest in wellness, work, money, shopping, dating and going out.
Every Thursday, I send out The Digest, a roundup of things worth knowing. It includes a mini shopping edit, cultural recommendations, where to go out and a list of talking points.
Every Friday, I publish an editorial feature. This might be an expert interview; a guide on where to eat, stay or go out; a longer shopping edit; or an essay-slash-report. On the fourth Friday of the month, I share a Fantasy Weekend, where a tastemaker in one of the world’s most exciting cities (New York, Milan, Sydney) details her ideal weekend itinerary.
Paid subscribers receive full access to The Digest and a Friday feature every week, including Fantasy Weekend, for £5 a month. Free subscribers receive partial access to The Digest and a Friday feature every other week.
About me
I’m a strategist and editor based in London who consults on brand storytelling, communications and PR, cultural positioning, partnerships and content. I’ve previously worked in-house at Mr Porter and Net-A-Porter, and I’ve also contributed pieces on style, culture, beauty and design to Kinfolk, Esquire, British Vogue, Sunday Times Style and World of Interiors.
