The most complicated website. Manager need to get better update.
I created the first account successfully, then I log in. The website shows unable to log in due to technical issue. I call the support center and the guy told me that he unknown the problem and told me that I need to register with another email address and difference credit card. After i create the second account and went through all step until final page. I wasn't able to purchase the tickets. I believe the credit only link to my main email address which I registered on the first time. It been waste a lot time and never solve the problem. This website very confuse to use. I would like some one contact me and help to resolve the problem same as all future foreigner have the same trouble.

Booked a Shinkansen ticket via Smart EX, but my QR code would not scan at the gate.
After more than 30 minutes with station staff trying to resolve the issue, I was told my account had been blocked without any prior notice. As nothing could be done, I was forced to buy a new ticket on the spot.
Completely unacceptable for a travel service. Blocking accounts without warning and offering phone-only support is especially impractical for international travellers without a Japanese number.
Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Antiquate website, difficult to navigate and not always active (you cannot make reservations 24/7).
