Rakufun

Extremely poor experience with Rakufun.

My goods were submitted on 7 June, yet by 16 June there was still no shipment and no clear in-app notification explaining the delay. I only found out the shipment was held after contacting live chat myself.

It was then revealed that items exceeding ¥200,000 require an export declaration — something new to me as I do not shop internationally that often. However, there was no proper in-app warning during consolidation, and the only notification was an email that ended up in spam. This led to several days of avoidable delay due to a complete lack of proper platform alerts.

To make things worse, the initial declaration form sent to me was in Chinese, yet I was told it must be filled in English. Only after I pointed this out via email was a proper Excel declaration form finally provided. This shows a lack of basic readiness and clear instructions for users.

As someone with no experience in export declarations, the process was confusing and poorly explained, forcing me to rely on external help just to complete it.

When I tried to avoid further delays by requesting cancellation and reconsolidation into smaller parcels, I was charged a 500 JPY fee, and my request to waive it was rejected. I also had to top up an internal wallet instead of using my Visa credit card, which is unnecessary and inconvenient.

Overall, this was a preventable situation made worse by poor communication, inconsistent documentation, and lack of proper in-app warnings. I will not be using Rakufun again.

So easy to use and is new user friendly, they give mamy discounts and support to others. I have found many beautiful items on it too!

Originally i'm supposed to be reviewing for next week however since my salary was given 1 day earlier than the expected day Which supposed to be on the last day of March and after so, i was able to pay for my package's shipment same day as my salary was given and package arrived to me just in 2 days later, always a smooth transaction with DHL delivering so Thank you for the delivery.

Great proxy. The website is easy to navigate and they constantly offer plenty of coupons. Costumer service is quick and efficient and were very helpful when I had an issue with a seller. From all the proxies I’ve used Rakufun is by far one of the best ones. Would definitely recommend.

RAKUFUN is definitely my favorite Japanese proxy service. It's so easy to navigate, the interface is clean, and I can always find exactly what I want. Highly recommend!

Super easy to navigate, app is also user friendly with accurate translations. This app is great for those who want authentic items from Japan! Everything is well packed and arrived in about 3 days after paying for shipping. Already on my second purchase with rakufun !! 😄

Rakufun makes it easy to find things you usually can’t find outside Japan, and the sellers on there are very kind and Rakufun has many coupons!! Would recommend to kpop, anime, or people who simply love Japan!

Rakafun is the best app i've used for buying all kind of japanese merchandise. there's a plethora of sites one can choose where to purchase their desired gadgets from, and prices are resonable too. if not one could bargain, use coupons, and apply discount points. it's such a fun, and user-friendly proxy! Rakufun team is very nice well, from the creative staff on sns, to costumer service that imo is the most efficient and reassuring i've ever experienced so far on any app. superb!

Nice UI, So many discounts, easy to use.

I've been using it for like a month now, and the interface is easy to look at. I only ordered one item right now, and Rakufun manages to ship it quickly. Very impressed.

It's good!!

The customer service is very reponsive, very easy to use the apps, there's alot of guide, also every issue that I have encounter have been resolved very quickly, highly recommend
