jennae

poet ♡ embodiment teacher

My name is Jennae, and I’m a poet and embodiment teacher from the Surf Coast of Australia, currently residing on Wadawurrung country. Born on the last day of summer, I’m ruled by water and the moon, forever in tune with the ebb and flow of life.

This space is my sanctuary, where I bring to life the stories of my heart through poetry, lyrical essays, and embodied practices. My work is deeply influenced by the cycles of nature and the rhythms of the body, with a focus on sensuality, tenderness, and the power of embodiment.

As an embodiment teacher, I guide you in connecting more deeply with your body and soul, helping you to feel fully alive in your skin.

My work is an invitation to feel, to embody, and to reconnect with the most intimate parts of yourself. I offer a space where you can breathe, move, and explore your sensuality in all its forms, unlocking the wisdom that lies within you.

Acknowledgement of Place

I acknowledge the Wadawurrung people as the traditional custodians of the land I live and create on. I offer my deepest respect and gratitude and commit to ongoing practices of decolonisation and living in reciprocity to the land, waters and skies. My writing is inspired so deeply by this land and I recognise that without the rich dreamtime stories and stewardship of the land by First Nations people, my poetry would cease to exist.

Acknowledgement of Practice

I acknowledge and pay my respects to the spiritual lineages, practices and traditions that inform my approach to embodiment, especially yogic, meditative and somatic teachings that originated in South and East Asia and other parts of the world. I recognize these ancient roots and living traditions as well as the teachers, poets and practitioners that have come before me.
