Thank you for reaching out, and I’m sorry to hear the shipping cost was a concern.
We don’t mark up shipping. The rate you were charged is the actual carrier rate, calculated at checkout based on your package’s weight and destination postal code. The $18.74 for UPS Ground reflects what UPS charges to ship your trailer spring. Carrier rates have risen significantly over the past year, largely due to higher fuel costs.
We do everything we can to keep shipping costs as low as possible, and we appreciate your feedback.

Don't trust Michigan Truck Spring
When I received the boxes there were 3 boxes. Two boxes had one spring in it for the rear springs and the other box also had one spring in it too. But it was supposed to have two front springs. The box had no damage to it and I received it directly from the delivery driver. After calling Michigan Truck Spring about this they told me they did nothing wrong and they would open a carrier case but never went anywhere. I needed that other spring so I bought another one from them. At the end of the day someone has my spring and I think it was Michigan Truck Spring that has it. Don't Trust them.

I’m sorry to hear you didn’t receive everything in your order. Your order shipped in four packages, and UPS shows all four as delivered:

1Z4228280399509018: 2 front leaf springs, 104 lbs
1Z4228280395032021: 1 rear leaf spring, 89 lbs
1Z4228280395132235: 1 rear leaf spring, 89 lbs
The package in question, 1Z4228280399509018 (the 2 front leaf springs), was scanned by UPS at 104 lbs, which matches the weight we shipped.
As we mentioned, we’re happy to contact UPS to have them inspect the packages and start an insurance claim. However, you’ve told us the boxes were discarded after delivery, which makes that process difficult. Our website notes: “Open and inspect your shipment promptly. If an item is missing or damaged during shipping, please contact us within five days of delivery. Keep the product, carton, packaging, wrapping, and all packing materials for the carrier-claim process.”
If you’d like us to reach out to UPS anyway, just let us know. You can also call our shipping department at 800-358-4751 with any questions.

Our records show one order from you, placed on September 18, 2026, and shipped the same day via FedEx (tracking #544168663014). FedEx shows it was delivered on September 21, 2026.
Please note that we don't bill credit cards until an order actually ships. If we have to cancel an order because it is backordered or out of stock, you are never charged. We do place an authorization on your card when an order is placed, but that authorization is released if the order is cancelled.
