Ankeet Maini shared thisshe's a better manager than me (hurtful but true 😭)Ankeet Maini shared thisHiring and Culture are very important to me. I always think skills can be sharpened, but what sets people apart is the right attitude and growth mindset. Especially senior developers, who set the right benchmark for the team. Microsoft CoreAI has been more than a workplace for me; it has helped shaped my identity and learn things every single day at work with the brightest minds around, even after more than a decade of engineering. I will be opening the senior positions in my team soon. Ankeet Maini reposted thisAnkeet Maini reposted thisA few years ago, when I was leaving Flipkart, I found myself thinking about what made that experience so special. It wasn’t just the scale or the complexity. 💡 It was the community💡 As a software architect, I had found a tribe — people I could reach out to when I was stuck, when I wanted to sanity-check an idea, when I needed honest feedback. A group that pushed each other to think better and build better. And once you’ve experienced that, you start missing it everywhere else. And with that thought The Technology Tribe originated — with a simple question: 👉 Can we build that kind of community beyond the boundaries of a single company? Over the past few months, that idea has quietly come to life. Through conversations, shared learnings, and people showing up for each other — a real community has started to take shape. Mosaic is the next step in that journey. What makes it different? ❎ It’s not about polished success stories. ✅ It’s about real engineering. ✅ People who are actually doing the work ✅ Sharing not just what worked, but also what didn’t ✅ Talking about the trade-offs, the messy decisions, the lessons along the way ✅ Frameworks you can take back and apply in your own context It’s also fully community-led. No top-down curation. No hype cycles. Just engineers from different companies, domains, and stages of their careers—coming together to learn from each other. We’ve even paired speakers with mentors to ensure every talk goes beyond passion and becomes something useful and relatable. If you’re someone who: 🔎 enjoys going deep into real problems 📖 wants to learn how others are solving them 👥 or is simply looking for your tribe —you’ll find your people here. It’s a full day of tech talks, panels, and (very intentionally designed) networking—so you don’t just attend sessions, you leave with conversations you want to continue. Because the goal isn’t just a great Saturday. It’s to build something that continues long after the event. If this resonates, you should be in the room. 💡 Mosaic 2026 🎯 Substance over sound bites 📅 9th May 2026 📍 Nimhans Auditorium, Bangalore Tagging a few brilliant folks who I got to work with and who became the inspiration for The Technology Tribe for me. Ankeet Maini posted thisi still remember when i left flipkart in 2021 and joined hotstar, i thought what could be more challenging than what i've already built and lived through? and boy, was i in for a mammoth surprise! from being cocky on day 1 to almost crying on day 30 :P, i've actually learnt all of my leadership lessons in the hardest way possible from Rahul Krishnan P, Rajesh Naik, Harsh Mittal, Akash Saxena and Sajith Sivanandan i had the absolute luck of taking on a 15 member core team and then seeing it through multiple iterations of transformations into foundation's org comprising 70 of the most brilliant people i know who helped make hotstar, a truly best-in-class app while delivering multiple world cups without breaking any sweat. my journey at hotstar wouldn't have been possible without my amazing team who pulled so much more weight than i ever could possibly lift Gagandeep Singh Sashi Singh Richa Srivastava Manuj Porwal Chirag Jain Bhuvaneswaran Mohan Nitya Tiwari and every single member of foundations. forever grateful and lucky to be able to work with amazing folks Deepanshu Gupta Rahul Aneja Naveen Ayyanchira Isha Inani, Nitika Bakhshi and Abhishek Sharan (although for a very short time :P) as i wrap up my last day here, there're so many memories that i'll be taking with me for a very long time. thanks everyone for all the fun <3

Ankeet Maini shared thisthis has all our hearts <3Ankeet Maini shared this"Records matter, hearts even more" - when we rolled past the 10Mn concurrent barrier in 2018 - the next day's frontpage announced the story that we had lived the evening prior. In 2026, we've set a new bar with 72.5Mn concurrent streams and I can't help but think of the the journey and team that has helped to pioneer scale global live streaming over 9 years. It's a privilege to stream to all of #India and just like our country-people, the people and technology that makes all this happen are special. As I reflect on this milestone, I am always reminded that what we do - touches hearts - because that's why we do this - and thats what matters in the end. ❤️ Huge shout out to all my engineers who helped build this from 2017 till date - Hotstar, Disney+Hotstar,JioCinema and now JioHotstar. You know who you are - thank you!

From consuming content to interacting with it - that’s a fundamental shift. FLAM is building right at the center of it. 🚀 Exciting to see this journey🚀 Congratulations to Shourya Agarwal Malhar Patil Amit Gaiki and team for the Series B.Ankeet Maini reacted on thisAnnouncing Flam's $40M Series B led by QED Investors. Flam is built on a simple observation: Content has moved in waves, from text to images to video, and every wave flowed one way, creator to viewer. We think interactive is the next default for the internet. The demand was always there. The technology wasn't. We have made interactivity effortless to build and deploy at enterprise scale. Blitzed to 100+ customers in six quarters of GTM, including Google, Hyundai, McDonald's. Today Flam ships three formats powered by five generative models. Flicks are interactive videos that swap person, product, or scene mid-playback, streamed at 50ms TTFB. Forge, the video editing model, takes prompt and changes only the specified element. Airboards are high-fidelity 3D you touch, talk to, and feel. Flam's 3D streaming loads them in 300ms with no app install. Fable, an I2V model, generates the assets as native alpha-channel video. Visual Agents are human-like characters that hold conversations like a video call and take agentic actions. Powered by Fantom (identity & lip-sync), Finesse (multilingual voice), and Falcon (a 26B MoE LLM), they respond in under 800ms. Video was the last big shift in content. Interactivity is the next one, and we're defining it. CLAYPOND RTP Global R. Martin Venky Olivier, welcome to the rocketship 🚀

Ankeet Maini reacted on thisAnkeet Maini reacted on thisFor the longest time, Vikas Sharma measured success by the technology he built — working on rebuilding the app, developing recommendation systems for record-scale live events, and contributing to patented solutions along the way. “That feeling is still incredibly rewarding,” he says. But somewhere along his journey from Software Development Engineer to Engineering Manager, his definition of impact began to change. "I realized I didn't have to choose between building great technology and helping people grow. Technology creates impact at scale, but people create impact that keeps multiplying." That shift has shaped the way he leads today. For Vikas, leadership isn't about having all the answers. It's about creating an environment where people feel safe to ask questions, challenge ideas and grow beyond what they thought they were capable of. One conversation, in particular, has stayed with him. A senior engineer who recently moved to his team once told him, "Sab kehte hai kuch aur karo, par kya karna hai koi nahi batata." It reminded Vikas of his own early career. Instead of offering generic advice, they built a growth plan together. Today, that same engineer leads bigger problems with confidence. "Watching someone discover their own potential and grow into a stronger engineer is a different kind of happiness, one that I'll always cherish." His perspective on leadership became even more personal earlier this year. Within the same week that his father suffered a major heart attack, he welcomed his daughter. "My leaders never made me worry about work. They simply told me to be with my family. When I returned after nearly six weeks, I didn't come back to questions about timelines or missed deliverables. I came back to greater trust, a bigger charter and meaningful recognition. That experience reinforced the kind of leader he wants to be. "Work will always be there, but some moments in life won't come back." Whether he's building systems for millions of viewers or mentoring the next generation of engineers, one belief he picked up at #JioHotstar continues to guide him: "#Leadership, to me, means helping others succeed, even when you're not in the spotlight." Because great technology may power the future. But it's the people who build it. #LifeatJioHotstar #InfinitePossibilities

Humbled to be featured on Apple's Developer site, talking about Swiggy's move to native iOS. 🍎 Instamart and Swiggy Dineout started as hybrid experiences, and as they scaled, we hit clear limits in performance and stability — so in early 2024, we made the call to go native with Swift and SwiftUI. The approach that made it work: we didn't attempt a full rewrite. We identified the highest-impact journeys — Instamart and Dineout's home and search experiences — and rebuilt those first, shipping the first native experiences within weeks. The most surprising result wasn't performance — it was the business impact. Faster load times and smoother animations translated directly into better conversion and lower bounce rates. Performance wasn't just a UX win. It moved the numbers that matter. The other unexpected outcome: once designers trusted the native capabilities were there, they started pushing more ambitious, creative experiences than we'd planned for. Proud of this team, and grateful that Apple thought this story was worth telling. 🙌 Narayan Ramachandran | Mukund Srinivasan | Tushar Tayal | Priyam Dutta | Shashwat Mithyantha| Aviral Garg https://lnkd.in/dE8bPmZh
