Would love to offer a positive review but unfortunately our experience wasn’t good. Wanted to hire a rear facing USA car seat and the website asks to WhatsApp prior to order. Did this and received a reply the next day which I responded to immediately with the travel dates as requested. Then heard back absolutely nothing. Sent a follow up text a day or two later later in case this was an oversight but never heard back from them again!

I really loved the concept behind this business. As a mam of twins, I’d already invested in an expensive double pushchair and couldn’t justify buying additional travel buggies. I heard about Tiny Explorers through a friend and genuinely wanted it to be a success. Unfortunately, my experience fell flat… very flat!

I ordered two Joolz Aer buggies, two parasols and twin connectors so I could convert them into a double. I arranged delivery for two days before we were due to fly. My advice to anyone ordering from Tiny Explorers is to leave yourself plenty of extra time, because things don’t always go to plan.

The buggies didn’t arrive on the scheduled day and were delayed until the following day due to a DPD error. Tiny Explorers didn’t contact me to let me know, and I wasn’t offered a refund on the £18 shipping fee I’d paid.

When the parcel finally arrived, the twin connectors were missing. I contacted Tiny Explorers, but with our flight the next day, there was no time for them to send the missing items.

Things got worse once we arrived in Spain. When I unpacked the buggies and assembled the parasols, I discovered that both parasols were broken. I contacted Tiny Explorers again, only to be told that because I hadn’t reported the damage within 24 hours of receiving the parcel, they wouldn’t refund me. I’d packed these items in my suitcase, taking up valuable space and weight, only to find they were unusable. Anyone who has travelled abroad with newborns will understand how much you have to squeeze into your luggage just to cover the essentials. It was incredibly frustrating.

Once I returned to the UK, I contacted Tiny Explorers again, hoping to get the matter resolved. Unfortunately, I found the customer service really disappointing. After all the issues I’d experienced, the best they offered was a refund for the twin connectors, which 5 weeks on has never been sent.

I’ve given this company every opportunity to put things right before leaving this review but they have now stopped responding to my emails.

It’s a shame because I genuinely thought this company was a great idea but the delays, missing items, broken parasols and poor customer service have completely put me off.

Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere. You’d probably be better off buying a second-hand travel buggy on Marketplace.

Great service and really happy with the buggy we rented for holiday. Arrived on time, in great condition, and will definitely do again next time we go away.

Fifth star lost for communication, which felt a little chaotic. Some communication was conducted via WhatsApp, which while not my preference did work quite well - for example, I was able to respond with photos of some small cosmetic damage to the item when it arrived, so that I was confident I wouldn't be blamed for it.

However the communication around returning the item was a bit chaotic. It arrived in the form of a long email, written almost entirely in capital letters, which was quite hard to follow. "If your item is X size you must return via this route, however if you prefer you can return via Y". We were still abroad when the message arrived so I had no way of knowing what size the box was, and therefore how I should arrange to return it.

Given I received a customised WhatsApp with instructions on the item we had hired before it arrived, it doesn't seem too much to ask for the return email to be equally specialised to the item in question. This would have removed the confusion from the situation.

Overall though really happy, will definitely use Tiny Explorers again next time we travel.

This is such a great idea and service. The hammock turned up in excellent condition and earlier than needed which gave us time to try it out before our holiday. Return was simple as well. I would use tiny explorers again.

As new parents we assumed that by 6 months old our baby would sit up straight and bought a sitting up pushchair. We realised closer to our holidays that baby wasn’t ready and had to find a last minute solution. We hired a reclined travel pushchair from tiny explorers and it was such a great experience. Fast service and stress free. We recommend strongly.

Really great service. It was so easy, arrived a day early. So useful for our holiday as we just needed a second pram for a week for our eldest, worked so well. Would definitely use it again in the future.

What a holiday game changer!
We rented a buggy that was able to fit in the overhead lockers for our trip. We went to Florida and our toddler was never going to be able to walk the 20 mins from the aircraft to luggage carousel and wait for the buggy there.
Having this meant we could zoom through and have no melt downs and no carrying!
The buggy was delivered to my house with constant updates on times, it was spotless. When we returned it I simply downloaded a label and took it to the post office.
Very clever and as a travel agent I'm recommending it to everyone.
So many more things to rent which is amazing, I wish I'd known about it sooner.

The process was straight forward a d very convenient. Most of all the price is very reasonable.

Really easy to order. My order came early which was great so I wasn’t panicking that it wouldn’t be here on time before our holiday. I ordered the hoppie which was clean and did the job perfectly. Easy returns process as well. Overall great experience. Would definitely use again if needed in future.

Hidden Gem!!

I hired the Stokke YoYo for a two week holiday abroad. The ordering process was fast, simple and affordable.

The buggy arrived exceptionally clean and showed minor signs of wear. It also arrived with a travel bag and arm strap perfect for the airport.

There’s also a WhatsApp channel for any concerns, refreshing to talk to actual people and not AI.

I’d definitely use again and will be sharing to the mum chat.

Recently used Tiny Explorers for a Doona buggy to make it easier for our holiday. The buggy came in good condition, it was easy do use and the return was very simple.

I would definitely use Tiny Explorers again and recommend them!

I never realised you could hire/rent baby equipment. It is such a great idea. It was easy I find the product (spectra 1 breast pump) and it came so quickly. It all meant I could start my pumping journey after midwife told me to 'top up'. I could support my baby in the early days of his life.

I didn't know if I wanted to buy the product as it's was expensive. I wanted to try it first.

Item was as described but arrived without instructions.
Return process could have been clearer - received conflicting instructions plus a returns postal bag that was way too small for item. Contacted the team via email and unfortunately a response was not received (I did eventually get a response via WhatsApp)
As the multiple requests for a review state this is a growing business so will put this down to growing pains but a few small improvements would make a huge difference
