First time using the lot at LAX and LAST
First time using the lot at LAX and will be last after leaving us with a terrible first impression. When we picked up our car, the old white man working the customer service window was a rude jerk. He was clearly sick as he smelled of strong BenGay and immediately started violently coughing into his hands after I handed him the parking ticket. So as I was showing him my email confirmation for the validation he insisted on holding my phone in his hands. I explained that I preferred to hold it and show him and when I said that he rolled his eyes and shook his head. Give me a break. I just witnessed this dude violently coughing into his hands and he made no attempt to wash or sanitize his hands afterwards, so of course I prefer to hold the phone while he looks at the confirmation. His rude, insensitive and uncalled for reaction was so unprofessional and he acted as if it was such an unreasonable request. Please. If this old guy had a wife who was vulnerable to getting sick he would feel the same way, so I explained that I live with someone who cannot get sick due to a serious autoimmune issue. But I shouldn’t have to justify it. Anyone with a brain would understand why I didn’t want his germy hands full of cough mucus holding my phone. That was just the start of the entire negative experience as he continued to be very rude and unprofessional during our entire interaction, even as I was trying to be helpful by explaining that I had revised my out time and had a screenshot of the new out time in case he needed it. Major jerk, so we won’t be using this lot again. Not worth saving a few bucks when you are treated like crap, undeservedly.
