Submitted a Steph Curry PSA 10 to their vault. About a year later, asked it to be returned to me. First they claimed they couldn't find it then they admitted that they had used a duplicate certific... See more

I gave 3 cards to PSA at a recent show in June. Just now October they graded all 3 as 7 or lower. These were new cards out of a pack untouched. Perfect condition. I even bought the PSA required sleeves required to give them to PSA. They charge $75 each. This was my 1st experience to try this service..... and will be my LAST.
2000 Ultra #234 Tom Brady RC graded 7
1988 Fleer #17 Michael Jordon graded 6
2001 Upper Deck 68 Barry Bonds graded 6
I didnt expect a 10 but at least 8 or 9.
I will never use this service and will tell anyone who listens this is PSA stealing money from people. No explanation why graded low........ no proof given, Nothing. This company and Service is total BS.

They took over 6 months with my card that I had sent in for grading and then they sent it back to me in the same thing that I sent it to them in says do not hold her come to find out it's a baseball card but they all come in different sizes I was unaware and since it was a hair smaller than a normal baseball card they could not holder it and still did not grade it and told me I still had to pay the shipping when they should tell you that up front that all baseball cards if they're cut differently will not be graded and sent back
Slow, Broken Website, Malicious Business Practices
Their service is slow. Their website barely works. When it finally does work, they want your personal data before you can use it. The PSA vault is a conflict of interest and a malicious business practice. They also forcibly grade valuable, gem mint condition cards to be lower hoping you resubmit and to protect their PSA vault asset values.
So I sent in a 1993 topps stadium club…
So I sent in a 1993 topps stadium club beam team #4 michael jordan to be gradded. I did fastest turnaround time. I took videos and pictures of this card before sending it off. At the time a psa 10 copy sold for 22,000. About two weeks go by and I recieved the card back. It gradded a PSA 8 NM-MT. I was happy with this grade. But when I turned card over to look at the back I noticed the upper corner was bent. My card did not have that bent corner. My photos and videos can prove that. So I reached out to PSA. They said send the card back and they will do a quality check on it. Along with bent corner there was a piece of lint trapped in the slab right in middle of the front of card. 4 months go by and I heard nothing yet about my beam team card. I reached out to psa several times during four months and got no response untill the 4th month mark. They responded that the card was like that when recieved. They take intake photos when card arrives and in those photos no damage is shown or the bent corner. They stated again damage was there prior. So I sent over all videos and photos fighting my case. And 2 more weeks go by and they responded saying " Sorry our gradder made a mistake originally the card is not a psa 8 it is now a psa 7 and will be reslabbed as a 7. I was furious they were doing this. How are they not gonna honor there original grade of a 8. They said card does not meet a 8 standard. And I told them I know its because you damaged the corner. To rap up they refunded me gradding fee of $183. On top of that they refunded me $175 for differnce of a 8 to a 7 grade. Still doesnt change the fact my most expensive jordan card could have been a 9 or a 10 if not mishandled by PSA. The supposedly best gradding company. Now that Beam Team jordan reached a all time high of 43,000. I will never know if mine would have been a 10. "Don't trust PSA with your holy grail cards" I know mistakes happen in life but it took fighting for 3 weeks to get them to admit fault.
Way too expensive now
I’ve been working with PSA for a few years. It’s no wonder they have such growing competition. No one wants to pay the prices they’re asking for. It’s almost doubled in price over the last year. Awful. Looks like I’ll go to Beckett
I submitted four orders before the…
I submitted four orders before the value was put on hold for new submissions. The first was vintage, all cards graded 2 levels less than expected. The next was mostly 1986, 87, and 88s. All given 7s and 8s. This was a 50-card submission rushed and completed 4 months earlier. I am the sole owner of these, temp controlled, scanned with R Studio and CardMintAI for 10s. I have an office with extreme various magnifications, various lighting for photography, inspected for months if not years and consulted with other dealers for input. The modern cards were given 10s. I believe the order was rushed, and I question the skill set with grading older cards such as processing and printing from that era. I have complained to them, and the other two submissions are a 150 days later with no end in sight or the trust and confidence for fair grading. The cards submitted have never been in direct sunlight, or any humidity. They were all given 10s from AI App scans. This is not good repeat business. Unfortunately, PSA has a complete monopoly on grading. My experience is not good. Very displeased.
I have been a collector for 50 years. I have opened original sealed boxes that I bought new and keep controlled since. I also measure by hand with rulers and card measuring tools. I am the type that thinks all cards will have some sort of flaw. I have studied how baseball cards have been produced and the printing involved. Cutting in the processing and the history of packaging these. I have a devoted office with lint-free cloths, handling tools, magnification to blow cards up to the size of a TV. The cards are inspected for sides and sharp corners. Any PR or MK or any surface waves, bubbles, fisheyes, color run on letters, spots, etc. Yet, after all of this, I receive 7s and 8s and clearly rushed to complete. I would never send anything less. The modern cards from 2020 on, all come back mostly 10s. Again, lack of skill dealing with older cards. I do not thing they have a good comparable or perhaps fear of giving a 10 grade. After all, only cards like Fernando Valenzuela and such.
Worst service.
Worst service.
Try to manipulate market by giving lower grades.
Customer service is zero.
I would give them negative 5 star if there’s option.
They pass due date for my shipment n as soon as I emailed them it’s grade ready in 2 days and all 8-9 even its pulled from box and straight send to them.
All cleaned n perfect condition not even 1 got 10 as that all was high value on 10.
Do not use PSA for your card grading instead use CGC or BGS they are far better.
Hope for the best who already have their card with them.
Total disgust
There are no words to describe the nauseating experience we are having with you... The card was sent in February, I'm sure I'll never see it again... It's not even about the money but about the fact that I will never find that card again... Incompetence might perhaps be the most appropriate word...
A bunch of scamming con artists they…
A bunch of scamming con artists they fail to let the people know the grade of the card isn’t determined by the condition of the card The grade is determined by the amount of money you insure that card for meaning card condition don’t make it a psa 10 but if you was to buy a 10kor higher package on a extremely rare card you will be more likely to get the grade you want which is unfair I literally had a representative tell me and my wife you basically pay for the grade this is a ripoff just way for them to control the system under a new way of pyramid schemes I can’t believe they been actually doing this scam so long
Waiting
Put 2 cards in they said they would be here earlier this month and still haven’t even been graded, I asked for the funds to be returned to me and the card to be sent back to me because I was not given the service I paid for so I want a full refund. Still waiting on a response
Price gouged and inconsistent
I’ve used PSA in the past, several years ago before this unprecedented boom. The card I sent in wasn’t horribly graded, however, I feel it deserved better, as I’m sure the majority of people also feel about their cards. The service level and timeframe matched the tier I chose and there were really no issues so I was happy and satisfied.
My most recent submission on the other hand is a disaster and extremely delayed. My bulk cards were sent in June 2026 and didn’t start getting graded until months later. The biggest pisser is the grades received. These cards were never played with and sleeved since day one yet I received grades all over the place and not one of them a 10 - out of 35 cards. I know we all hope for 10’s, the point is the cards were properly stored and no major visible flaws were present otherwise I wouldn’t have sent them in for grading. Realistically expected a few 10’s and the majority of the others at least 8’s not 2’s…. Not sure who is grading these cards but PSA is receiving a lot of heat right now and for good reason. Between the price gouging, delayed service and inconsistent grading I’m positive PSA won’t be staying at the top for much longer and I smell a class action lawsuit in their near future.
Took my $80 and returned my card with…
Took my $80 and returned my card with no grade and no slab. They said the edges were too perfect, so they made the assumption it was trimmed. I paid for a graded and a slab. I got neither and they stole my $80. Apparently, PSA is so broke they have to steal people's money even when returning ungraded unslabbed cards.
Their explanation was so stupid that I felt they were telling me I was lucky to get the card back, that I should at least be happy about that.
They're probably right considering all the horror stories I've heard about them losing cards.
If I could rate lower
If I could rate lower, I would. Made a submission in February of 2026 using the express rate/package... still haven't received my cards. And actually was just notified about 2 weeks ago my cards may be lost. The customer service and their response times are abysmal. I will never submit with PSA again and I'm incredibly sad to know they own a good portion of the competition. I don't want to give these greedy scammers anymore money, and I wish they would just close up shop
Absolutely ridiculous experience with…
Absolutely ridiculous experience with PSA. I sent in ONE card expecting to pay the grading fee I originally agreed to, and somehow I ended up getting hit with almost $400 in upcharges.
I understand that PSA has different service levels and that a card can get moved to a higher service level if they determine it is worth more than the original submission tier. Fine. But the way this is handled is absolutely insane.
I submitted one single card, and instead of feeling like I was paying for a grading service, it felt like PSA saw the value of the card and decided, “Yeah, let’s charge this guy a whole lot more.” What makes it even crazier is that they then taxed me on the upcharge. So I’m already getting hit with nearly $400 in additional fees, and then I’m being charged tax on top of that.
How does a customer send in one card expecting one price and end up with a bill that is hundreds of dollars higher? If the card qualifies for a different service level, there should be a much clearer and more reasonable process for handling that. Instead, you’re basically stuck after the card is already in PSA’s hands.
And let’s be real: almost $400 in additional charges for ONE CARD is absurd. I don’t care how valuable the card is. At that point, the grading fee starts feeling like the smallest part of the bill.
PSA is one of the biggest grading companies in the hobby, so you’d expect the pricing to be transparent and the customer experience to reflect that. Instead, this experience left me feeling like I was being punished for submitting a valuable card.
I have no problem paying for a premium grading service when the price is clear from the beginning. What I do have a problem with is submitting one card, thinking I know what I’m going to pay, and then getting slapped with almost $400 in extra charges afterward.
And taxing the upcharge too? Come on.
PSA needs to seriously rethink how these upcharges are handled. Collectors shouldn’t feel like they’re getting ambushed with a massive bill after the submission is already underway.
PSA is a scam organization
PSA is a scam organization. Their grades are completely unreliable and they reject cards for no reason. They frequently over-bill and do not follow their own business policies.
PSA takes to long to grade cards
PSA takes to long to grade cards. They are not any better than CSG as far as grading, although they believe they are. They offer partner offers sales on PSA vault items. Problem is they pay thru a service called stripe. Stripe then holds the money, finds the oldest account possible to try to forward a delayed payment to that card. Then when you try to change the account to pay(because that card had expired and I had a new card number) stripe refuses to verify the document they ask for. I finally gave up and told PSA to go ahead and keep the money and buy coffee and donuts. They are no longer worth my time.
PSA received my cards three months ago but has no record of them
UPS confirms that my package was delivered to PSA’s Santa Ana receiving department on May 28, 2026, at 11:15 AM and accepted by a named receiver.
More than three months later, the submission still does not appear in my PSA account, and there is no record that my Pokémon cards were received, opened, or entered into the intake system.
I have emailed PSA customer service repeatedly and supplied the tracking information and proof of delivery, but no one has acknowledged my request or confirmed that an internal search is taking place. I have also been unable to speak with anyone who can investigate the missing package.
These cards may be worth thousands of dollars, making PSA’s lack of communication extremely concerning. I have retained the original shipping receipt, proof of delivery, photographs of the cards, submission documents, and all correspondence.
I am posting this review because every private attempt to obtain help has failed.
PSA, please contact me, assign someone to investigate this case, and provide written confirmation of where my package is and what action is being taken.
EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS FIRST
As I read through the other complaints — and the lawsuits involving PSA — I feel compelled to share my own experience. If this is happening to other collectors, people need to know what can happen when you put your trust in PSA.
Over a year ago, I was extremely fortunate to pull a Manga card from a pack. I documented the pull on video, and the card was personally handed to a PSA representative at a local show for submission.
Because of the value of the card, I paid well over $300 to have ONE card graded. PSA returned the card approximately 14 days later with a PSA 10 GEM MT grade. I was thrilled. The card went directly into my personal vault, where it has remained ever since.
Fast-forward to June 2026. I decided it was a good time to test the market and potentially sell the card. I have a PSA account, so I logged in to check the certification.
GUESS WHAT?
My certification number had been flagged, effectively turning my $25,000+ graded card into a card with a serious question mark attached to it.
Let me be very clear: this card has been in my possession the entire time, except for the period when it was physically in PSA’s possession for grading.
I did exactly what PSA instructed me to do. I submitted the requested documentation, including the original pull video, paperwork, photographs, and a request to have the certification reviewed and the flag removed so I could legitimately sell my card.
Then… crickets.
I followed up by email and specifically requested escalation.
More crickets.
As of writing this review, more than 70 days have passed. I have received absolutely no meaningful response beyond the initial acknowledgment that PSA received my request.
I’ve also tried calling. I’ve spent extended periods on hold, only to ultimately be disconnected.
Think about that for a moment.
I paid PSA hundreds of dollars to authenticate and grade my card. PSA gave the card a PSA 10 designation. I trusted that certification enough to store the card safely for more than a year. Then, when I eventually tried to sell it, I discovered that PSA had flagged the certification — and now I cannot reasonably sell a $25,000+ card without PSA resolving the issue.
And despite providing everything they asked for, I cannot get someone to actually address the problem.
This isn’t about expecting special treatment. I’m asking PSA to resolve an issue involving a certification they issued.
Collectors entrust PSA with cards worth thousands, sometimes tens or hundreds of thousands, of dollars. Many of those collectors are not wealthy people. They are everyday collectors who save their money, take risks, and rely on PSA’s reputation and certification to protect the value and authenticity of their cards.
When something goes wrong, those customers deserve communication, accountability, and a resolution.
Instead, I’ve spent more than 70 days trying to get someone to simply look at the documentation I’ve already provided.
My experience has completely changed my opinion of PSA.
I am actively moving away from PSA for my own collecting and grading needs, and I cannot recommend PSA to other collectors while this remains unresolved.
CGC has been my go-to grading company for my other cards, and after this experience, I will be going back to the graders I have trusted rather than continuing to use PSA simply because they are the biggest name in the hobby.
PSA, I don’t need special treatment. I need you to address the problem you created and resolve it.
Swapped card
They very obviously swapped a card of what a friend sent in. He has photo evidence and they aren'tresponding to his attempts at communicating. This company is absolute sh!t. Scumbag thieves that deserve everything that's coming to them.
Collectors Club Magazine is not being…
Collectors Club Magazine is not being delivered. I have an active subscription but they still not take accountability on this issue: I do not receive any magazine since december of 2025. I tried to contact costumer service by mail and by phone but they refuse to give me more details about the real carrier to deliver this items and by now I still not receive any magazine or promo card for all 2026. I recommend not to suscribe to the Collectors Club if you, like me, are not in the US because they just avoid any responsability and answer the same things without providing any solution.
