This company is fraudulent. They took my money for years knowing the website was corrupted and then point blank refused to help. DO not use them!!!!!

scammers, all fake!!!! dont let few reviews that are fake also fool you, youl never see your web and they will just change account managers and web adresses and blame it on you until next invoice.

My domain has been suspended and Im desperately trying to renew but they are not answering calls or responding to e-mails, meanwhile my business is suffering!

Seems a good deal to start with, but they constantly try to up sell other products and do not make it easy to transfer domains and their customer. Service isn't that helpful. Website design was basic. Time and money wasted. Wish I hadn't taken the 'cheaper' route of trying to get a website designed and built.

The communication on my project was top-notch. My project manager, Tamar was quick with feedback on drafts of my website. Any needed changes were promptly addressed, showing their dedication to getting everything just right. The final design, crafted by my talented student, was perfectly on-brand and encompassed everything I wanted.

It was clear that both Tamar and my student were committed to delivering a website that truly represents my vision, resulting in a product that exceeded my expectations. I'm incredibly pleased with the outcome and the process that got us there.

I was introduced to WA Academy and had Jean Garcia as my Project Manager who oversaw the creation of my new website. It is an amazing free service for a small business like mine to create a website and at the same time allow a student web developer to practice and hone their skills. Jean was great at communicating and was the contact person for me. He was helpful and understood all my questions, queries and requests. Highly recommended. Thank you

I was offered a free website 3 years ago if I paid for hosting. So I paid for hosting in 2021 and didn’t get my free website. Now 3 years later after no communication whatsoever I have had £324 taken from my bank account. No update. No invoice. No heads up. No comms. And no website

This company takes your money, makes a lot of promises but does not deliver, I have been waiting for my refund for weeks now.

This company is the worst I have come across for communication. They took a payment out of my bank account for a service I never used and I have been chasing them since June 2023 for a refund.

Their email system is not user-friendly, as every time I email them concerning the matter, I receive an automated service email, and they also keep sending me emails, asking for proof of the payment, which I have sent 7 times. The system is a con because when you send an email, the reply comes from a different email.

I would highly not recommend this company, and would encourage others to let your family and friends now to.
I am going to start the process again today to receive my refund.

I recently had an unfortunate experience with GetSpace, and I feel it's important to share my perspective. I signed up for their hosting service with high expectations, but unfortunately, the reality fell short.

The main issues revolved around prolonged response times and challenges in obtaining timely support. Despite my attempts to seek assistance during crucial phases, the level of professionalism I expected was not met, not even close. For example, there was a 13-day delay in forwarding an email, and my specific request for a simple forward was not fulfilled, and this is just one example.

Moreover, understanding the project's limitations became a significant hurdle, and the lack of support during these critical phases was disappointing. While the service has been active for several months, I found it difficult to justify the costs given these ongoing challenges. I requested a full refund, but they’re holding onto the terms and conditions I “accepted” before committing to this unfortunate adventure. At the same time, the terms and conditions state that GetSpace will hold onto the commitment to professionalism and client orientation.

I appreciate GetSpace's “willingness” to offer the best services, but my experience suggests a misalignment between “commitment” and delivery. I'm now in the process of seeking a resolution that better suits my preferences and circumstances.

In conclusion, my experience with GetSpace has been unsatisfactory at the maximum, and I hope this feedback encourages the company to address the issues faced by its clients. Avoid them to say the least, don't commit financially to this "project" they give you for free, you'll probably have to say goodbye to your money, so far, I've lost 300 EURO.

Absolute SCAM! I cancelled my hosting with them, got their confirmation and they still keep charging me. Be careful if your payment goes through PayPal, they use it as excuse to keep charging you automatically. So if you’d like to stop dealing with them, make sure you block all possible accounts, otherwise you will continue paying. They claim that even if you cancel, it’s your responsibility to deal with banks and PayPal so they won’t charge you automatically. So, as soon as your first charge went through , expect paying more! That’s where such a « reasonable « prices come from!

Avoid them at all cost the have provided nothing to date
They are quick to take your money stay clear
No decent communication and job is still not done

Just want to make sure this review stays at the top so people can save themselves the troubles I have had. They do not deliver what they promise. Especially w academy their website development team. Do not think you are helping students out, or that you will surely be able to get a basic website - you won't. they will ask you for extra money to put in basic features. they will then refuse to finish the work or refund any money. don't say you weren't warned if you see this and do it anyway. you can call me or email me for more info so you can see exactly what they delivered and called it done. they promised a website that could suits my needs, only to dicover later on that that website was nothing what I was promised.
Customer service is terrible, they just ignore you

Avoid!!! They have some serious problems with handling payments.

I have 3 years hosting plan and a domain. Got an invoice for 180€ and duly paid it. I've noticed on their website that my payment was not registered.
Contacted them, using a chat option and reported the issue. They confirmed that payment was received and changed the invoice status to Paid.

2 weeks later my PayPal account was charged 180€ automatically for the same service. Sent an email requesting the refund, received an auto-reply that they will get back to me within 10 business days.

The very next day, they suspended my account and blocked my website because of unpaid bill. Chatted with them again, they apologized and unblocked the website. The situation was repeating for 3 days in a row. They block my website, I complain, they unblock. Hardly fun experience, especially when you understand what every minute of blocked website costs you.
On the third day, the responded that they found a "glitch" and it should not happen again.

And yes, 3 weeks later I still didn't get my refund.

I could say that it might be a coincidence and it was really a glitch, but the same things happened to me a month ago when I paid my domain invoice. I had to contact them to register my payment and instead got charged twice. They told me to send an email to get a refund. Which I did and 2 weeks later got my money back. But it was only about 10€.

So, if you don't want to spend your time fixing issues, having your website down with no reason and being charged for the services that you didn't get, look for the other company.

Their customer service is dreadful. It’s a total scam. Don’t use them.

Where to start, I tried to move my domain from another provider to getspace. Weeks later it still hadn't transferred. Noting that several features from my old provider where not provided by getspace, I decided to cancel the transfer.
I contacted customer service for a refund and they replied saying I had to email refunds♧getspace.uk having done that, and sending follow up emails and additional contacts to customer service, there has not been any further replies from this company.
If a company doesn't offer a telephone number for customer service that already says alot. Very disappointed at the moment.
