About Arinze’s Notes

I started this newsletter in 2021 to share tiny thoughts on adulting in the 2020s.

Back then, it was called Arinze’s Weekly.

After a four-month publishing streak, I lost my rhythm. First I missed a week, then another, and eventually I stopped publishing altogether. I’ve been on hiatus since, broken only by the occasional story that clawed its way out of me.

In that in-between, I kept wrestling with what this newsletter should be: personal or professional? explorative or declarative? serif or sans serif?

A writing class in business school gave me the obvious answer I’d been resisting: it can be all of the above.

That’s how Arinze’s Weekly became Arinze’s Notes.

Arinze’s Notes is my catalog of notes on adulting in the age of AI and late-stage capitalism, with occasional ramblings on some of my obsessions: philosophy, psychology, queer culture, branding, pan-Africanism, and design.

My writing is my part of my lifelong attempt to discover my own truths, untangle the loneliness epidemic, and share original thinking on AI and society.

If anything here hits a nerve—or makes you go ‘wtf?!’—I’d love to hear from you.

I hope you enjoy your time on Arinze’s Notes.

Lovingly,

Arinze.
