About me
I’m Elizabeth Blackthorn, founder of Four Winds Witchery and a practicing witch, writer, teacher, intuitive, and pagan advocate with more than twenty five years of experience walking this winding path. My practice is rooted in Wicca, Celtic, and Native American traditions, though my heart has always been drawn to the meeting place where all magick speaks the same language.
I’m passionate about helping others connect with their inner power. My work blends practical guidance with spiritual wisdom to make witchcraft feel both sacred and accessible. To me, magick isn’t something distant or secret, it’s a living art of growth, healing, and transformation that anyone can learn to weave.
I am spirit-sensitive in a magnetic way. Energies and presences are naturally drawn to me, those who move close to the veil or reach out from beyond it. I listen for what comes forward, tend to what needs peace, and carry messages with reverence. Much of my practice is rooted in ancestral work, honoring the ones who came before and weaving their wisdom into the present.
Through my books, journals, workshops, and online community, I teach from a place of both mysticism and modern paganism. My goal has always been to create spaces where witches, especially those just beginning, can learn without fear and grow into their own unique craft.
When I’m not writing or teaching, you’ll find me in my garden, crafting spells under the moonlight, or chasing the wind on my motorcycle or in my classic Camaro. I live near the Mississippi River, where the water’s rhythm keeps me grounded and the stars above remind me that the universe is always whispering.

Founded in 2020, Four Winds Witchery began as a gathering of witches dedicated to learning, connection, and service, both in person and online.
What started as a circle of shared curiosity has grown into a mentoring community and coven where practitioners of every background and age come together to expand their craft.
✨ Empowerment
We believe wisdom should never be gatekept.
Knowledge passed freely from hand to hand keeps the old ways alive.
While we honor and respect closed and initiatory traditions, we also believe that the heart of witchcraft—self-knowledge, energy work, reverence for nature, and personal sovereignty—belongs to everyone.
Our goal is to help witches deepen their understanding of the arcane arts through open teaching, mentorship, and shared experience, without bias or barriers.
