About Laura
I am a writer currently working on a memoir that explores the “troubled waters” of marriage, faith, and the messy process of coming out on the other side. It is a story of raw honesty and practical theology, born from the belief that our greatest struggles are often the doorway to our deepest transformation.
I started Beneath the Surface as a living companion to this book. My goal isn’t to provide pat answers or “five easy steps” to a better life. Instead, I want to challenge you to look “beneath the hood” of your own heart. I’ve spent time helping people train their bodies; now, I’m more interested in how we train our hearts to listen to God.
