Mixed experience: outstanding first driver, unacceptable return trip

My travel agent booked Koiride (Private SUV, Meet and Greet, roundtrip) for four travelers, including my 7-year-old daughter, for our October 3-6, 2026 trip to New York.

Booking: My travel agent supplied the correct hotel address, but Koiride booked the wrong pickup and drop-off address. She had to call and email repeatedly to get it corrected. The company was not accommodating, even though the error was theirs.

Arrival (excellent): Our driver, Fatima, picked us up at LGA and took us to the correct address, confirming the correction had been made. He was patient, kind, and careful with our luggage and my daughter, and he gave us valuable safety tips for our first visit to the city. This was exactly the service we expected.

Return (very poor): With a 1:30 PM flight, our driver, Muhammad, called at 8:45 AM to say he would arrive at an incorrect address at 9:00 and that we had better be outside, as he had other passengers. We had no notice of a 9:00 pickup. When I explained we weren't at that address, he said it was what his app showed and not his problem. We skipped breakfast entirely and rushed back to meet his timeline. He arrived scowling, offered no help with our luggage, and blamed us for a mix-up that originated with Koiride. We loaded and unloaded our own bags. When I raised the importance of customer service, he continued to blame me for the wrong address and the lack of notice about the pickup time, taking no ownership on behalf of himself or Koiride.

Bottom line: Koiride's dispatch errors, combined with a driver who blamed his customers, make this a risky choice. If you book, confirm your address and pickup time in writing and request Fatima by name. I will not use this service again.

They did not show up to pick me up, they kept me waitng and then said they did not have anyone to pick me up and I would have to get an uber or find another way. I had reserved and paid for R/T transportation heathrow/hotel via a Expedia about 3 weeks prior. I then cancelled them for my return trip to airport (directly with them and also with Expedia as they told me that is what I had to do) they are refusing to refund my return trip although I cancelled well prior to the cancellation deadline. They are a SCAM DO NOT USE KOI RIDE

We had a taxi booked from Rome Port to the airport.
It was booked and paid for 5 months in advance.
We confirmed the booking a week prior.
We were supposed to be picked up at 9am on a Sunday morning for a 1pm flight, and we received a cancellation notice 12 hours before the pickup.
Totally unacceptable.
It cost me €264 for a last-minute replacement, which took until after midnight to find.

Nuestra empresa está radicada en Argentina, Buenos Aires, aquí ya llevamos la cuenta de 12 empresas miembros de la camara de transporte a quienes han estafado en igual modalidad . Los pagos jamás llegan son todas promesas y dilaciones . En un principio parecen cumplír en pagos y luego llegan los problemas. La persona que nos contacto en representación de Koi technologíes , el sr Pablo Calderaro, no contesto más llamadas, ni mensaje , también borro su perfil en redes. Parte necesaria y responsable sin duda del desfalco.

Hello. This company also owes my company over 2,500 euros for transfers made in March, April, and May. They write off the debt in a loose way so that I don't have to worry about acknowledging the debt and paying, endlessly extending the deadline... and that's where their empty promises end... they think they can go unpunished... my lawyers have found lawsuits worth 72,000 euros, but I think that's only the beginning of the claims... everyone meant well, but it turned out as usual... that's how intermediaries work... they enrich themselves at the expense of others' misfortune.

I am the owner of Luxe Black Diamond LLC, a licensed Boston chauffeur company. We were a ground transportation supplier to KOI Ride from December 2025 through May 2026, and I am writing as that supplier, not as a passenger. Our chauffeurs completed every ride KOI dispatched to us. KOI has never raised a service complaint with us. $2,001 remains outstanding across two invoices, 112 and 78 days past due against the 30-day payment term in the supplier agreement KOI's CEO signed. The record matters more than the amount. On July 24 KOI told us we would have a payment update by mid-August. The August 6 deadline passed. We granted an extension to August 15 at KOI's own request. On August 13 their Accounts Payable Analyst wrote to us: "We acknowledge the outstanding balance of USD 2,001.00 and understand the urgency of the matter... we are actively working on the payment." August 15 passed and nothing was paid. This is not a dispute about service or about rates. KOI has acknowledged the amount in writing and has not paid it. To operators considering supplying KOI Ride: require payment before dispatch. I will update this review the day the balance is settled.

This company is the absolute worst service provider. They were booked through a travel agent for a Heathrow to Central London pick up. Never showed up. No communication from the driver at all. I would not recommend Koiride to anyone. Zero stars needs to be an option for this mob.

If I could give no stars I would . They should not be in business . I was left stranded at Londons Heathrow airport . Contacted customer service and was told to take a taxi . No reimbursement . Luckily I was able to contact another service to get me to my hotel . After that they refused to refund my money saying no refunds . Ummm no service was done . Never again . This is the worst company . Buyer / traveler beware . I am still fighting to get my refund and the company is not responding to messages .

Worst service and I highly recommend steering clear of them. Never showed up both times for airport pickups. They don’t answer the phone or even call back.

Very disappointing experience.

Our company completed all agreed services professionally and on time, but we are still waiting for payment after more than seven months. The outstanding amount is over €4,000–5,000 for invoices from October, November, and December 2025.

Despite receiving all invoices multiple times, the company keeps delaying payment and asking for the same documents again instead of settling the outstanding balance.

Communication has been unprofessional, and promises of payment have not been kept.

Based on our experience, we cannot recommend doing business with this company. We hope they will finally fulfill their financial obligations and pay what is owed.

Absolute joke of a company , 2 hours late to pick us up, called and said there was bad traffic , called back and the driver had been in an accident I was told , driver turned up and asked me not to complain then drove like he had stolen the car weaving in and out of traffic , my advice keep well away from this company at all costs

We had booked a private transfer from Central London to Stansted through a travel agency. I received a confirmation via Whatsapp the day prior but no one showed up. No one reached out to inform us, and when I called customer service at 3AM they said that that there was a problem and they couldn't replace the driver assigned to us. They just acknowledged "something happened" and only offered to refund the ride when I started insisted.

I will update this review accordingly if we get refunded, but so far it's not looking good.

No driver at Rome airport, no driver turned up for the return leg, impossible to contact anyone. Avoid this firm

I ordered and paid but no driver was at the airport. "Support" doesn't give any answer so I booked another taxi and lost money. I clearly don't recommend.

Horrible service. Not possible to communicate by provided phone number and only communication is an AiBot who keeps you in a loop.
Driver got the wrong information and did not Pick us up as expected, and no willingness to help us with an earlier Pick up on the Way Home. Can NOT recommend!

Barcelona - airport.
Absolute scam. Booked premium ride with travel agent. Some fat indian guy dressed like hes homeless put me in a battered old taxi that I could have hired for 20% of the price he pre-charged me.
Scam artists - taking money upfront via travel companies and doing nothing more than calling a local taxi when you arrive.
I feel absolutely robbed.

Zero stars if possible terrible service. Arrived the driver kept messaging when we was getting off plane got outside nowhere to be seen. Arrived 45 mins late saying his round the corner.
Day of coming back terrible service nobody turned up when finally got through to somebody said driver car broke down and i get my ow way to the airport at 4am in the morning

Nul. Ne répond pas aux messages. Refuse de changer l'heure de prise en charge qu'il fixe arbitrairement. Aucun moyen de les contacter facilement. Compagnie imposée par l'agence. Je ne recommande pas !

This company is a scam! They have nothing to do with professionalism. I don't recommend them, they're a complete disaster!
