Bench has done my bookkeeping for years. Their prices have gotten expensive and their service has become very poor. For years, they offered great service for a very affordable price.

At this point, I wouldn't recommend them - which is unfortunate because I did for many years.

They started charging us weekly when we were on a monthly plan. They even charged us after we cancelled.

Working with Bench for a few years now, and I can honestly say they have made the tax season less of a headache and made the overall bookkeeping experience an enjoyable one due to their agents. I plan to continue using them for years to come and am grateful for their help every month!

Bench has made my live significantly easier. All transactions are categorized and exportable. This helps with finance, accounting, record keeping, and taxes. The service is well worth the money.

But the diligent efforts and excellence of some key staff (shout outs to Callum and to Scout Patton) kept us there. Ever since Employer.com took over, our experience with Bench has been 100% EXCELLENT! It doesn't hurt that the wonderful Mike Nickel was assigned to our account, after Scout moved to a different role in the company. Like Scout, he is absolutely superb in his attention to detail, his bookkeeping acumen, his prompt and thorough communication, and his patience with our highly transactional business and books.

Employer.com's acquisition seems to have kept or improved upon all Bench's strengths and fixed all its weaknesses. It now strikes a perfect balance between automated AI efficiency and the oversight, comprehension, and communication only an actual bookkeeper can provide. We have the UTMOST confidence in Bench Accounting, and we are so grateful for their long-time partnership and commitment to our business.

Bench has gone through a lot of changes, and honestly, our experience with them at first wasn't great. However, everything changed when we were assigned a new bookkeeper, Brianna. She has been an absolute pleasure to work with.

Brianna is incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable. She always takes the time to answer all of my simple questions without ever making me feel embarrassed or like I'm taking up too much of her time. She genuinely feels like a partner in our business, and her support has made a huge difference in our experience with Bench.

She also makes it a point to connect with me directly whenever I have more complex questions. A quick call often saves both of us time and allows us to resolve things much faster than going back and forth over email. I really appreciate her proactive approach and willingness to make herself available when needed.

I like what they sell and I only rate 3 star because I heard something from the staff or an employee, they talk about bad stuff and it sounds harsh. She supposed to talk about it at the staff room instead.

Our bookkeeper is amazing. He is quick to respond to questions and provides helpful guidance as needed. Using Bench has resulted in an enormous time savings so we can focus on important compliance and employee issues. Our partnership with the Bench Tax group has also been such an easy transition.

We have worked with Bench for at least three years now. They have been a great help, and having the Plaid with all the accounts has been a tremendous help. We used QuickBooks, but Bence makes all the transactions so much easier to handle. We have two companies and it is so easy to switch back and forth between each one. Their team is great to work with, easy to reach out with questions and to categorize every transaction. They work well with our CPA which is a great help.

I’m a solopreneur and bench has been my perfect partner- no more late nights in January and Feb cleaning up a mess- they do my books each month and my job is simple- everything is automated and I just have to categorize a few items each month .

I've been using Bench for two businesses for over a year and have always been very impressed but especially in the last year (when I believe they changed ownership?) the service has been absolutely spectacular. My bookkeeper, Mariel, is extremely thorough, communicative and patient with me. I can't recommend bench highly enough and they've even made what would otherwise be a complicated tax season with a W2, filing jointly and 2 LLC businesses quick and easy.
