When your supporters donate or register for volunteer shifts, our tools automatically help them look up their employer to see if they qualify for these programs. Double the Donation also automates follow-ups with donors, ensuring they get connected to their company’s next steps.

As a software company, we do not collect any funds but help you market and grow workplace giving, increasing revenue with minimal manual effort.

How do Double the Donation’s tools help us identify matching gifts, volunteer grants, and other corporate giving opportunities?

Double the Donation’s platform helps you easily identify matching gifts, volunteer grants, payroll giving, and other corporate giving opportunities through our comprehensive corporate giving database that integrates with your existing fundraising systems and tools to identify eligible supporters in real-time. This database includes eligibility criteria, program rules, and application links for thousands of companies.

From there, Double the Donation helps you gather any missing supporter employment data and automate communication to each of your eligible supporters to connect them with next steps for participating in their company’s program. This makes it easy to capture revenue-driving opportunities without extra manual work.

Does Double the Donation disburse matching gifts?

We help guide your donors through the submission process and track their match status, but the actual funds are paid directly by the employer or foundation to your nonprofit through their existing processes. Our role is to ensure your donors have the tools and information they need to submit their workplace giving requests easily.

These integrations save time, reduce manual effort, and increase donor participation.

Most offline donations are automatically tracked through your CRM with Double the Donation, ensuring that both online and offline gifts flow seamlessly into your matching gift and volunteer grant workflows.

If a donation isn’t captured automatically, you can import donor data via CSV to append employer information. This ensures your nonprofit’s corporate giving data remains consistent and complete across both online and offline channels.

Do Double the Donation’s tools integrate with our CRM system?

These integrations enable DTD to work in sync with your CRM, enhancing your existing donor management system rather than functioning separately.

How do Double the Donation’s emails work?

Double the Donation’s email automation system is designed to engage donors and guide them through the matching gift process without requiring manual follow-up from your team.

Once a donation is made, Double the Donation automatically sends tailored emails to both donors whose employers have been identified and those whose eligibility is still unknown.
- For donors with identified employers, the emails share relevant matching gift details and next steps.
- For those without employer data, the emails prompt them to search for or confirm their employer, allowing the system to uncover new corporate giving opportunities that might otherwise be missed.

These emails include next-step instructions, direct links to the employer’s matching gift portal, and reminder emails if the donor hasn’t yet submitted their request.

You can customize these emails to fit your needs, adjusting the frequency and content to suit your strategy. This automation helps nonprofits capture more matching gifts, reduce administrative work, and keep donors engaged.

In addition to matching gift emails, Double the Donation also offers automated volunteer grant email streams.
- These messages guide supporters who have volunteered with your organization to explore whether their employer provides volunteer grant or volunteer time-off (VTO) benefits, and how to claim them.

Together, the matching and volunteer email streams ensure you’re maximizing every avenue of corporate giving engagement.
