Welcome to Croy Cottage!
I’m a small-town Tennessee girl turned wife and mother, storyteller, home cook, holder of all things divine feminine, and lifelong entrepreneur. From cooking and gathering with women to curling up with a British cozy mystery or a exercising while binge watching Acorn TV, life at Croy Cottage is 9/10 mundane with a bit of magic thrown in. In addition to eternal nesting and efforts to create a beauitful yet cozy home, for the last ten years I’ve also given business support to women in the spiritual and healing arts. I’m so glad you’ve found your way here to my little cottage.
Here’s what Croy Cottage holds for you:
Daily reflections on midlife, magic, and cozy living:
🌙☕Simple rituals, prayers, and meditations to center and ground you in the modern day world. (When I remember to do them myself!)
🌙🏡The kitchen as the heart of cozy living. What I’m cooking or eating, gatherings and celebrations, traditions, food lore - all the things.
🌙📖Curated book recommendations: British cozy mysteries, cookbooks, and any other book that finds itself on my nightstand.
🌙🏡My favorite things: Tools, tips, and tricks to allow for a slower paced, organized, savory, and stress free life. No hacks. Real solutions. Less impact on the world around us.
🌙🍄Nature talk for the Soul: Whether you love the outdoors or just pretend you do because you think you should, you’ll find cottage yard talk, gardening, and caring for the magical world in which we live.
🌙𖦹Divine Feminine Energy: My first introduction to the Goddess was in 1997 and I haven’t looked back from embracing and embodying the feminine energy of the Universe.
🌙🌸Daily Health Updates and Inspiration: Whether you are a new mom, a midlife empty nester, or a crone enjoying all the things your wisdom brings, good health is important to priortize.
You CAN Live Your Best Life!
Recognize what you do daily is your ritual. (Including making that morning pot of coffee.)
Know that magic comes in all forms, not just around a cauldron with a circle of women.
Realize there is alchemy in what you do in the kitchen and in the rest of your home.
Understand that healing yourself before others means you can do more for your family, your friends, and for the world.
Embrace nature in whatever your capacity as an act of defiance in the modern world.

Embrace every day!
A little more about me.
I began my blogging life in 2008 (now moved to Substack) to write about the journey of our little family and to share about my life…
My life has been an adventure. I’m a small-town Tennessee girl, forever curious and always seeking the magic in everyday life. My husband of 23 years and I are raising two amazing young adults—a recent college graduate turned real-life archaeologist and a college freshman—who keep us laughing and on our toes.
Now, right in the heart of midlife, I feel more at home in myself than ever. Like many women my age, I’m rediscovering what it means to live a life I truly love—and I’m passionate about helping other women do the same. Whether you’re stepping into your next chapter or finding your way back to yourself, I believe in creating spaces where women can feel seen, inspired, and empowered.
In 2022 I moved my family back to mine and my hubby’s college town, closer to family, into our forever dream home. I finished an associate’s degree and returned to my alma mater to finish my bachelor’s degree. In 2023 I doubled my income, supported my hubby and daughter through major surgeries not to mention multiple viruses. In 2024 I graduated with my bachelor’s in Global Studies. 2025 was a bit of a breathing year while I regrouped and considered what’s next.
Entrepreneurship runs deep in my roots. One of the first stories ever told about me takes place in our little country grocery store, where my mother worked while raising four kids. She’d get my father off to work, send my siblings to school, and then bundle me up for a day at the shop before heading home to make dinner. It’s no wonder I became a generational entrepreneur—it’s in my blood.
In 1998, I walked into my first women’s circle, and my life has been devoted to women’s spirituality in one form or another ever since. I’m a storyteller at heart—passionate about sharing my own stories and, for the past eight years, helping other women tell theirs.
I live a cozy, magical, and bookish life filled with cooking, creativity, and community. My favorite reads are British cozy murder mysteries and women’s cozy paranormal fiction—stories with a touch of magic, a dash of mischief, and plenty of heart.
Thank you for letting me share with you!
