I started this Substack to share new issues of my zine, Commonplace, and my zine recs in real time after getting a few reader requests for a newsletter. The ‘stack quickly took on a life of its own after one of my posts got traction and I realized that people were interested in reading about zine ideas and needed resources, too. I am a former teacher and life-long zinesters so I love sharing information and ideas about zines. Now I post regularly about the zine scene and get to talk about zines all the time, fun!
