My Personal Experience with CITRN
My Personal Experience with CITRN
My personal experience with CITRN (Canadian Immigration Technical Resource Network) and Carl has been extremely bad. I applied for a Work Permit under the RCIP pathway. They requested all my documents and an upfront payment. After waiting for almost a year, I did not receive the expected results or progress.
I was then told that they had already done a lot of work on my file, my upfront payment was finished, and I needed to pay additional fees to continue.
CITRN deals with **Express Entry, Work Permits, Startup Visas, PR applications, LMIAs, recruitment, and community-driven immigration pathways**. However, based on my personal experience, I found their communication and team very disappointing, and I was not satisfied with how my case was handled.
This is my personal experience and opinion, and I recommend doing thorough research before making any payment or signing an agreement with them.

Carl seems to be focused mainly on…
Carl seems to be focused mainly on taking payment without delivering the expected work, which has been a complete waste of time in my personal experience. His communication style was also unacceptable, and I found his team to be unprofessional. This is based on my personal experience, so please be careful and do your due diligence before making any payment to Carl.
Documents threats / Not recommended
I had a disappointing experience with this company. I shared my personal documents with them as part of my immigration process. After a dispute arose, I felt uncomfortable when I was told that my information could be used to contact government authorities regarding my situation, which I found inappropriate and unprofessional.
Based on my personal experience, I recommend that others carefully consider what documents they share and ensure they fully understand the process before engaging with this company. I was also dissatisfied with my interactions with Carl and Amit, as I did not find their communication and professionalism met my expectations.
LMIA and PR application BECAREFULL
Most of my communication was handled by Amit, and I felt my case was not managed professionally. There were delays, poor communication, and mistakes that caused me a great deal of stress.
I rarely received direct support from Carl, despite being the main person associated with the service. In my opinion, the company focused more on collecting fees than providing proper guidance and support throughout the process.
Based on my personal experience, I would advise others to do thorough research before hiring this company.
LMIA and Work permit
I joined their service hoping for assistance with LMIA and work permit opportunities, but after waiting nearly two years, I did not achieve the results I was expecting.
Based on my experience, I was unable to secure the opportunities that were discussed, and communication became very limited over time. Eventually, my messages were no longer being answered, which was extremely frustrating after such a long wait.
I invested significant time and money in this process and unfortunately did not receive the outcome I had hoped for. I cannot recommend this service based on my personal experience.
Not recommended
Very disappointing experience with CITRN and Carl. I paid around $8,000 expecting professional immigration support, but my case was poorly managed from start to finish. Communication became frustrating during the process, and I often felt that my concerns were not being taken seriously.
The service quality was far below my expectations, and I did not receive the level of support I was promised. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend CITRN or Carl. Please do your research carefully before hiring their services.
Unfortunetly
Unfortunetly, my experience with CITRN was not positive. The service did not meet my expectations, and I did not find it helpful after making payment.

I will not recommend this company for any payment. I do had a bad experience using this. Never again, so please do your own research for safety.
My personal experience with Carl
My personal experience with Carl, Amit, and CITRN was disappointing.
Initially, they booked a consultation and collected payment promptly. However, after joining the CITRN service, I found the experience frustrating and not useful for my needs. The service did not provide the value or support I was expecting based on the initial discussions.
Communication and guidance were not as helpful as anticipated, and overall I did not feel that the service justified the cost. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the program to others looking for practical and effective support.
This review reflects my personal experience only.

Very professional and recognized immigration consultancy. High success rate with this CITRN. I referred 5 possible candidates, all got 100% successful result with 100% satisfaction. Specially Carl is amazing with is professionalism and significant experience. So, I recommend all of you to get amazing services from CITRN. I have been in touch with CITRN from 2015 since I was in the UK.
My experience with Carl Hosein was very…
My experience with Carl Hosein was very disappointing. I would not recommend their services. Communication was unclear, promises were not fulfilled properly, and the overall process caused unnecessary stress and problems for me. People should be very careful before dealing with them.
Bad experience by CITRN
At first, I was impressed by CITRN because they present themselves as a Canadian federal licensed immigration firm with 27 years of experience. They advertise many services, including business startup programs, Provincial Nominee Programs, high-skilled work visas with permanent residency pathways, refugee cases, RCIP, and other immigration services.
I was in contact with them through the email , They list their office as 658 Danforth Ave, Suite 207, Toronto, Ontario, Canada M4K 1R2. They also have company information published online and job postings on Indeed.
What confused me the most was that they operate through multiple websites and domains, including citrn.ca and citrnimmigration.ca, while using the same contact email on both websites. In my experience, this created confusion and made the process more complicated when disputes happened.
I had a very bad experience with this company. Before signing any agreement, I strongly recommend checking and matching all company details, services, and contract terms carefully. In my case, the agreement was heavily in favor of CITRN, and after disputes occurred, it became very difficult to challenge anything due to the technical wording of the contract.
This is only my personal experience, and I advise others to do complete research and legal review before making payments or signing documents.

Not Recommended
My refugee case was mishandled, and my application got rejected because of poor guidance. I faced a lot of stress and problems after this experience. Please be careful before trusting them with important immigration matters. Not recommended.
Please be careful before paying any large amount.
They posted a plumber job with a $33/hour salary, but when I contacted them, they asked for CAD 40,000 just for the application process. Seriously, Carl? Is this a joke?
Even worse, their agreement included an “initial file review payment” of CAD 10,000. They take a huge amount of money upfront, and once you sign, you feel completely trapped because the agreement is written mostly in favor of their company, not the client.
Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this service to anyone. Please be careful before paying any large amount.
PR Application
Indeed Job posting, My personal experience with Carl and their job postings was very disappointing. I contacted them through a job advertisement posted on Indeed, but instead of discussing a real job opportunity, they started asking for payment and immigration-related fees.
It feels like these job postings are being used mainly to attract foreigners who are looking for ways to move to Canada. In my opinion, the Canadian government should investigate these practices and verify whether these jobs are genuine or not.
People should be very careful before sharing documents or sending money. Always verify the company, LMIA details, and job authenticity directly through official Canadian sources.
PR Application
PR Application, My experience with CITRN, especially Carl and Amit, was very disappointing. I trusted them with my PR process, but I felt completely misled during the journey. They gave me an agreement that seemed more in favor of their company rather than protecting my interests as a client.
I spent a lot of time, money, and hope on this process, but instead of clear guidance and support, I faced confusion and poor communication. I expected professionalism and transparency, but unfortunately my experience was the opposite.
I would strongly suggest others carefully read all agreements and fully understand the terms before making any payment or commitment.
RCIP program
RCIP program, I had a very bad experience with this company. I paid my fees for the RCIP program and submitted all of my required documents as requested. It has now been almost 2 years, and I am still waiting without any proper update or progress.
Whenever I try to contact them, I either receive no response or unclear answers. I also requested a refund for my payment, but they are not refunding my money either.
This experience has caused me a lot of stress and disappointment. I trusted them with my case and documents, but unfortunately the support and communication have been very poor. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend their services. Please be careful before making any payment.
Consultation experience with CITRN
Consultation experience with CITRN, especially with Carl. I booked a consultation meeting and paid $150 expecting professional guidance and support. However, during the meeting, instead of discussing solutions or giving proper advice, they mainly asked many questions about my documents.
After the meeting, when I followed up to ask what the next steps would be, I received a very rude response and was told not to text again. Since then, they have completely stopped replying to my messages.
I honestly do not know how to handle this situation now. I expected professionalism and support after paying for a consultation, but unfortunately my experience was the opposite. Please be careful before spending your money here.
I am writing this review to share my…experience with CITRN
I am writing this review to share my personal experience with Carl, Amit, and the team at CITRN regarding my work permit application.
At the beginning, they collected all of my documents and later asked me to sign an agreement. After signing the agreement, I was asked to make an advance payment, which I paid. Once the payment was made, they started working on my case.
However, after a few days, I became concerned because the team did not seem fully aware of the details of my case. I was repeatedly asked for the same documents multiple times, which caused delays and confusion. I also faced communication issues, and in my opinion, the overall document management process was not professional.
Another major concern for me was the quality of communication and drafting related to my case. I felt that some of the written work and guidance provided was not handled properly. Whenever I raised questions about the process or requested clarification, the responses sometimes felt rude and unprofessional.
After wasting a significant amount of time, I considered stopping my application and requested a refund, but my request was denied. Despite the difficulties, my application was eventually submitted, but unfortunately, it was refused for common reasons that could potentially have been handled more carefully.
I am still struggling regarding the payment matter with them. I am sharing my experience only to help people who may be considering using CITRN and working with Carl and his team, so they can make an informed decision.
Thank you.
