Had to cancel in the end , Chris sorted a refund quickly through the initial process he made time for me discussing different options . If in the future I get another vehicle I will definitely be using them, very professional set up .

Really happy with the service. The guy clearly knows his stuff and, more importantly, actually takes the time to explain things instead of just doing the work and sending you on your way.

Communication was great, he was honest about what could and couldn’t be done, and was happy to answer all my questions. You can tell he genuinely cares about getting things right rather than just taking your money and moving on to the next customer.

Would definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone looking for a proper, friendly and knowledgeable tuner.

Thanks to Chris at Wayside-Performance. One of the nicest young men I have met in a long time. Outstanding service, great communicator very humble highly knowledgeable knows exactly what he is doing. I had no expectations just to see what the difference would be . Chris was very impressed with the car and gave it his utmost care and attention. As I left with all intentions of returning with more vehicles to have him work on I entered the slip road of motorway dropped the gears into third and frightened the life out of myself as the wheels started spinning reached for fourth gear same thing calmed down slowed down pushed the button back into third gear and woooooooyyyyyyy oh yes that is more than I ever could have expected and so pleased a lot of work over two days to bring vehicle up to stage three spec but Chris is the man well worth the wait and the £££ . Give Chris or drop him a message you will not be disappointed.

My Waterpump had failed and I brought an oem one from elsewhere that took forever to dispatch , But cancelled that and brought one from wayside who got it to me next day delivery ready to fit on the Car at the weekend, Thanks Again .

This is not a review I wanted to leave, I had my W177 A250 (the car was 3 years old with 26k miles) in for a stage 1 remap and the worst possible issue happened, the turbo failed (blown)

I have since had the broken turbo examined and the cause of failure was down to overboost of the turbine

As the remap was removed and put back to stock I was not able to get the ecu data checked out to see what the cause of failure was down to although the actuator/wastegate/oil lines where all checked on repair and in good working order.
with him doing this to me looks suspicious and points towards the map

As far as I am aware/seen Chris did not do any pre checks, which should of been done before dyno run

I have tried to reach out to Chris multiple times via email to come to some sort of compensation agreement as the repairs cost me over 2k and the result of having no car for 4 weeks, I was not asking Chris for the full amount I thought 50/50 was fair

I appreciate Chris organised and paid for a recovery back to Manchester but did not take liability of the blown turbo which was disappointing

Just ordered and received parts this week. Very quick and efficient service with goo prices too. I'll hopefully be getting my car remapped from wayside in the coming months
