Although the delivery time was changed from the original scheduled time we were kept informed. The driver was polite and professional. The Pod was delivered exactly where we needed it to be. The Pod interior was spotless. The pick up was easily scheduled and we didn’t even have to be here.

On time and excellent communication and updates regarding same

The first driver smashed the truck into the side of my house when picking up the pos. Pods refused to take responsibility for it. Review your contract! Smh.

Had a terrible secondary drop off driver that refused to deliver gbe pod at the pre-designated location.
She was rude, swore at me, told me I was the person that chose to move here that I ought to know better. She was mad before she arrived at my house. That woman had a terrible attitude.

I most definitely won’t ever use pods again. It cost me way too much money to repair the damage to my house, it was too many problems, calling your lines where you don’t answer, it’s too many issues, attempting to organize a delivery because you’re afraid to leave a pod in the street.

Pick up and drop off was done in a timely manner and when I needed it done. The cost was fair. They were easy to communicate with.

Customer service chatbot hell.

They give you a customer service # or chatbot. They are both connected to the same chatbot flow. It is monotonous and ultimately leads to long wait times.

After you do wait for a human to be available, their chat functionality disables your text input so you are unable to respond.

Calling in takes 3 times as long, and the callbacks take even longer.

Plus, if you do get through you are most certainly speaking with someone in the Phillipines. This would not be an issue if they did not FORCE this as the only way to book a POD. Then you are at the mercy of the sales rep and their translation of the info you give them.

No matter how many times I directed them that the pod needed to be placed on the driveway for delivery, they set it to street. Then we are at the mercy of whatever customer service system exists, and it is broken and buggy.

Of course, the sales calls go off without a hitch, but after that—what do they care? Clearly they do not actually care, because there is no resolution, and no person that can be contacted. You are still at the mercy of their corporate BS.

I would not recommend PODs if you can help it. I certainly will be looking elsewhere next time this need arises.

Mouse infestation due to technician damaging the side of the pod. Terrible customer service as we are waiting several months for a claim to reimburse couches, bedding, etc.

I was so impressed with how easy it was to book and coordinate pick up and delivery. Plus, all my furniture arrived safely! If I ever move again, PODs is definitely who I’ll book with!

On time delivery and pick up

An affordable service, specifically if you need to unload a large amount of items, so that you can sift through all those items you have collected and want to clean out, for example a garage. It also benefits moving from house to house.

The attempt to have date for moving to new home. Very difficult

The POD was delivered to my home allowing me to store the furniture going to our new home and clear out our old home. Scheduling delivery and removal of the POD was easy and they were able to accommodate last minute changes.

PODs helped make our move easier. Thanks! The driver did a great job communicating with us before the initial drop-off and before picking it back up for relocation. He also placed it exactly where we asked both times.

The Pod itself worked ok.
I received a quote online and placed an order. Subsequently, the invoice online did not match the quote. Additional fees for "fuel surcharge" (because fuel prices changed so much in one day since my quote) and a $75 fee which is far as I can tell is for having the driver turn-around the Pod to put it in my driveway because he did not agree with my preferred location. Pods online notification, scheduling, etc. system is AWEFUL. I was constantly getting notices for delivery time changes that I didn't request. They have THREE-HOUR delivery windows. This clearly demonstrates that they value THEIR time more than mine. The one bright spot from Pods was someone named "Jeff" who reached-out by text to help things work-out as good as possible. Without him, this would have been much worse. I hope anyone who decides to use Pods finds their "Jeff".
