If you can absolutely guarantee to be at home all day on the day of delivery, this may be a good company to order from but otherwise beware: they use Royal Mail ParcelForce who are diabolically bad and ignore your instructions for delivery to a collection point (Post Office) and are impossible to contact. OnBuy customer service ignore your complaint about delivery and just send silly messages back such as, "Your parcel is out for delivery" when it clearly isn't. Like most companies these days, it is impossible to actually speak to anyone. I spent days trying to track a parcel which was not delivered and now have reluctantly become resigned to the fact that I have lost my money. A thorough waste of time and money. Don't use them!

⭐ 1-Star Review – Extremely Disappointing Experience with OnBuy

My experience with OnBuy has been absolutely frustrating and disappointing. My order has been missing since 29 September 2026, and I am still chasing a resolution instead of receiving the item I paid for or getting my money back.

The amount of stress, time and energy I have had to spend pursuing this order is ridiculous. What should have been a simple online purchase has turned into a complete nightmare. The lack of a satisfactory resolution and the continued uncertainty have left me extremely dissatisfied with the service.

As a customer, I should not have to repeatedly chase a company to get either the product I paid for or a refund for an undelivered order. I have lost confidence in OnBuy and, at this point, I no longer want the item. I simply want my money refunded immediately.

I would strongly advise anyone considering buying from OnBuy to think carefully about the potential hassle if something goes wrong with their order. Customer service should be about resolving problems, not leaving customers frustrated and chasing their own money.

OnBuy, please stop the delays and excuses and issue my full refund. This experience has been unacceptable from start to finish.

I bought 2 adult costumes of Hermione Granger of Harry Potter at 14,96 each one. 4 days later, I received a message cancelling the purchase because the costumes were “out of order” I have just checked and the costumes are available but for. 39 euros. This is a site of scammers. I feel deceived and cheated.

Excellent customer service

OnBuy is very good until something goes wrong with the delivery service. I have had a parcel delivered to the wrong address. It appears that it is my responsibility to contact the seller and not OnBuy. What is the use of OnBuy if it takes no responsibility.

Misold a used item, now item doesn't work won't help and avoiding help. Scam website would avoid no contact number to even speak too. Passed around and no help will be going through small claims court

Item was delivered to the wrong address by the courier. OnBuy responded to my emails very very quickly and the parcel was located at a different address. Yes, I was frustrated but couldn't fault the after sales service from OnBuy. I would recommend and use again. Item was exactly as described and good value.

This review is posted by the seller itself, not a customer. OnBuy suddenly suspended our seller account and has unlawfully withheld £2,600 of our payout. They ignore all official emails and legal notices regarding this matter.

Since 2022 I have used OnBuy but my most recent order demonstrates what happens when something goes wrong.

The order status was Dispatched with delivery estimated 07/10/26 - 08/10/26. There was no tracking number and when I didn't receive my order, I had to first message the seller, and only 48 hours after that am I able to message OnBuy themselves - which it then says may take another 48 hours for an Onbuy response. I'm still waiting.

Sure Amazon are no angels but at least they can say that their customer service is better. I do not feel supported by OnBuy
