My story continued... So now Nissan Canada consumer affairs tells me I will get back $1095 of my $2000. For some reason even though I have cost them zero dollars, Nissan Canada would rather profi... See more

Big scammers
Big scammers, I had a lease with them, and the end of the lease they sent me a liability statement that charged for the same thing twice under different name and they charged me for changing the tires because they admitted the tires that they put on their nissan sentra are cheaper lower grade tires. When I tried to fight it off they will tell me this is final statement and hang up on me.
I would never recommend them to anyone
Nissan Canada needs to take ownership of warranty issues
Nissan Canada needs to take ownership of warranty issues
I purchased a brand-new Nissan Rogue in October 2025 and committed approximately $36,000 to the vehicle. Within six months, I discovered water leakage that left stains on the headliner.
After several visits and discussions, Myers Kanata Nissan confirmed that the leakage was coming through the roof rail and advised that both roof rails and the headliner would be replaced.
Since then, I have repeatedly been told that the dealership is waiting for parts from Nissan Canada.
When I contact Nissan Canada, I am directed back to the dealership. When I contact the dealership, I am told they are waiting for Nissan Canada. This leaves the customer stuck in the middle, with nobody taking ownership of the problem.
I bought a NEW vehicle. I should not have to repeatedly call the dealership and manufacturer to get a warranty repair completed for a water leak that occurred within the first six months of ownership.
I am still driving a vehicle with a known water-leak problem and a stained/damaged headliner, despite already committing approximately $36,000 to this vehicle.
This experience has seriously affected my confidence in Nissan. I expected Nissan Canada and its authorized dealership network to work together and resolve a problem like this quickly and professionally.
Instead, I feel like I am being passed back and forth between Nissan Canada and the dealership.
I sincerely hope Nissan Canada takes ownership of this complaint, coordinates directly with Myers Kanata Nissan, gets the required parts, and ensures that the vehicle is properly repaired without the customer having to keep chasing both organizations.
A new vehicle should not become a customer-service battle within the first six months of ownership.
Extremely poor customer service and one…
Extremely poor customer service and one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had.
The representatives I dealt with in both Customer Service and the Finance Department were extremely difficult to understand. They spoke very quickly, rushed through the conversations, and did not take the time to explain important information clearly or properly. When you are dealing with financial matters, this level of communication is completely unacceptable.
I should not have to repeatedly ask representatives to slow down, repeat themselves, or clarify basic information. Customers deserve to be treated with patience, professionalism, and respect—especially when dealing with a company’s Finance Department.
Overall, the level of service was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. This company needs to seriously improve its customer service and communication. Based on my experience, I would be very hesitant to recommend their services to anyone.
Nissan supposedly refund for wrong efficiency assessment
We received a letter from Nissan Canada saying that we were entitled to a compensation for wrong consumption estimates.
Application by internet was done on the day of receipt. The compensation was to be issued within 4 to 6 weeks for the date of application. They were to send a card by mail.
6 weeks have passed and nothing received. I called the customer service telephone number on the letter.
First, instead of having a specific telephone number for the issue they used the "recall number" ́located guess where? In the US.
Before you can go through it asks you all kind of questions non relevent to the claim, "and" when it asks for the model of your car, it does not even accept "Qashqai" which is made and sold by Nissan. I realized this and remembered an Nissan salesman telling me that it was Rogue Sport in the US because Americans were too inept to pronounce Qashqai.
So, I finally got through to be told that it would be escalated to a 2nd level and we would get an email within 3 business days.
5 business days have passed. I called back to be told that there was delays, only for Canada and now the compensation is to be done by the end of the Calendar year.
All the agents I spoke there had difficulty understanding anything and you can tell the light wasn't "on". Talking to a wall would have been simpler. Mind you there are in the US, no need to say more...
If Nissan dares to offer a compensation for something that is their fault, they should at least have the decency of having a working system "in" Canada where agents can understand you and are not "stuck" in a US pattern understanding only US terms. After all Nissan sells cars in Canada.
The 2 agents I spoke to were not swift and it showed that they give "I don't care" service the US way .
Let's see if we get that compensation card by the end of the year.
Promises...promises.
Never again Nissan.

Don't trust on Nissan Commitment
First of all this people are not deserve for any start but I have to start with star so its 1 star. I am requesting all the buyers before giving business to Nissan. This review will save your money and time.
I am writing to formally request that a corporate case manager immediately intervene to resolve a severe case of dealership service negligence, life-threatening safety violations, and multi-dealer liability involving my 2023 Nissan Rogue. My vehicle is currently grounded at London Nissan (Ontario) at 99,800 KM (Approx.), safely within my factory 5-year/100,000 KM powertrain warranty.
This vehicle has a documented history of catastrophic installation errors stemming from a 16591.36 retail engine replacement, which carries an active 3-year Nissan network warranty.
Documented Timeline of Service Negligence:
1. June 28, 2025 (62,575 KM) – The Root Cause: I paid $16,591.36 out-of-pocket for a complete engine replacement at McDonald Nissan (Lethbridge, AB). This retail repair carries a 3-year Nissan network parts and labor warranty.
2. September 2025 – Life-Threatening Fuel Leak & Spark: Immediately after picking up the car, while staying in Saskatoon, a major fuel pipeline leaked, causing a physical spark in the engine bay. I had to tow the vehicle to Oakwood Nissan (Saskatoon). Oakwood Nissan confirmed the leak was due to faulty installation by McDonald Nissan. Oakwood Nissan repaired the safety defect and billed McDonald Nissan directly for their workmanship error. This establishes an official, corporate-documented record of negligent assembly.
3. November 2025-CVT error displayed on display: On 8th November 2025 I showed the CVT error on my display, so I took the picture and sent it to McDonald Nissan, Lethbridge by mail.
4. Subsequent Visit (72,660 KM) – London Nissan Misdiagnosis: Only 10,000 KM later, the transmission began malfunctioning. I paid London Nissan (Ontario) for a diagnostic inspection. London Nissan dismissed the issue as a "temporary system glitch" and sent me away.
5. Current Status (99,800 KM) – Total Transmission Failure: The unresolved issue has now caused total transmission failure. London Nissan now admits the transmission failure is a direct result of improper mating and workmanship from McDonald Nissan's initial engine installation.
Multi-Dealer Liability and Financial Impact:
McDonald Nissan's faulty assembly initially endangered my family's lives with a fuel fire hazard, and simultaneously damaged the transmission alignment. London Nissan's failure to properly diagnose the physical issue at 72,660 KM allowed the mechanical damage to worsen over 27,000 KM until the powertrain completely failed.
This breakdown has left my family without essential transportation to get my children to school, my wife to her job, and myself to work. I am tracking all out-of-pocket rideshare and alternative transit receipts for full reimbursement.
Because London Nissan logged the vehicle's current breakdown at 99,800 KM, my vehicle's status is legally frozen within the factory powertrain warranty window for this ongoing, misdiagnosed issue.
I formally demand that Nissan Canada Corporate:
1. Authorize London Nissan to perform an immediate transmission replacement under the active 3-year repair warranty, billing the internal costs back to McDonald Nissan’s liability channels.
2. Order London Nissan to provide me with a complimentary loaner vehicle immediately while this corporate repair is processed.
3. Reimburse all alternative family transportation expenses incurred due to this multi-dealer failure.
I have attached my $16591.36 invoice. Oakwood Nissan (Saskatoon) [1] and London Nissan hold the internal repair orders verifying these facts. I look forward to your prompt response within 48 hours before I escalate this severe safety negligence claim to Transport Canada, AMVIC, OMVIC, and civil legal counsel.
Note: I have asked the Finch Nissan, London, Ontario for the Report and quote but since a week I have not received anything from them
At last received my car after 2+ months with the same problem, they said they resolve the issues but I am facing the same problem CVT error on my desktop.
Saw a vehicle online and inquired
Saw a vehicle online and inquired. It was available. Sent my vehicle registration and DL and set up an appointment foe the flowing morning. Spoke to both salesman and manager yo let me know if the status of the vehicle changes as I was coming from out of town to view it. The morning I arrived at the dealership I was told the vehicle is not available. They wanted me to look at a comparable vehicle same year lower kms higher price and different color. I told them this was strike one but agreed to look at the other vehicle. Let them know clearly I was not impressed. Apparently the salesman sent a message to me at 910 am I was already on my way to the 10 am appt at the dealership. Noticed this new vehicle had several scratches while viewing it. After the drive they presented me with some numbers. I was not excited to see them although knew the reality of the history of my vehicle which I agreed was significant. I did not try to hide or lie about the history and was transparent with the sales man the night before. The dealership said I failed to disclose although they had the information they needed to pull the carfax so nothing was hidden. They chose not to do their homework until the day of the appointment. I did not like the numbers and requested my keys back several times. The manager asked me what was my number again I said we were far apart and wanted my keys to leave. So I was not angry or frustrated just felt the manager was dishonest from the start. Stay away from abbottaford nissan.

My wife and I enjoyed pur experience at Brantford Nissan. Both Eric and Alex were informative, pleasant to talk to and helped us navigate to the choice of vehicle that matched our budget best.
If your looking for a Nissan to buy. Then we recommend these to two gentlemen. No hard sales there.
If you want a stress free experience then Alex and Eric will more than meet your expectations right down to the colour.

The customer service is terrible
The customer service is terrible, wait times are horrendous, they claim to keep conversation logs but refuse to review them, they accuse the client of failing to comply with payments and other concerns. I have never had a good experience with them.

Unprofessional service and unauthorized charges in Morrey Nissan of Coquitlam
I brought my 2023 Nissan Rogue in for an official Recall and a "Service CVT / Power
Reduced" warning on my dashboard.
Service advisor Rob Beveridge tried to charge me ~$90 for a battery test that I never requested nor authorized. When I asked to speak with a supervisor regarding this unauthorized fee, Rob went back, removed the charge, but then became passive-aggressive.
He complained that they "volunteered today for free"-even though the dealership gets reimbursed by Nissan Canada for the recall work! To top it off, he wrote a note on my paperwork telling me to go to a different service center in the future, simply because I stood up for myself and refused to pay for a test I didn't ask for.
Very unprofessional behavior and poor customer service. Be careful with hidden/ unauthorized charges at this location and make sure to read every line before paying!
Love my Pathfinder
Love my Pathfinder! Great experience buying the car, and working with Waterloo Nissan. Would 10/10 recommend the vehicle and buying it.
Our Pathfinder has caused both my wife…
Our Pathfinder has caused both my wife and I considerable stress since purchasing new in 2022. we didn't need this in our retirement years. at 5000km bad battery. At approximately 20,000 front brakes needed complete rebuild with rotor and calipers. At 31,000 the air conditioner failed. After another couple hundred km the air conditioner failed again, apparently from corrosion because we live on a gravel road and haven't washed the under carriage...fine print in owners manual page 500 and something. And to top it off North Island Nissan (Campbell River, BC) suggests we find another qualified repair facility. I told the dealer we could not afford to repair vehicle. Original quote $3483.68!!
Nissan Canada…
I've been dealing with Nissan Canada since March of this year for a wiring harness for my vehicle. I have been given the runaround many times with multiple reasons as to why the item is not available to me. So I reached out to Nissan Canada head office to inquire as to why my part has not arrived after 2 months of waiting and I received no answers other than they would reach out to the manufacturer. Then I was told that they would arrange for a rental vehicle for me as I had been waiting approximately three and a half months by this point. Only to not have my calls returned for 3 days finally reached out to a customer care specialist that I had been dealing with through this process named Cynthia only for her to tell me that this was not going to happen and there was nobody I could reach any further above her as they were not customer-facing individuals. It is now the second week into July and I still do not have the part for my vehicle and therefore do not have power steering. I reached out to the dealership here in my hometown today and they still do not have an ETA their customer service at this location has been outstanding as they are doing what they can but their hands are tied.
2h “checkup” without my consent+ wrong diagnostics
Charges for 2h « check-up » that I haven’t even agreed to, the director of opérations taises his voice at me when I mentioned that I would have expected him to let me know what he was doing before charging me without any consent.
He also told me that the exterior tie-rod was so damaged that it was dangerous to drive with this car and that I had to change the back light because the wires inside were corroded due to a crack.
I went somewhere else to go ahead with the repairs after being ripped off for this checkup and at my neighborhood garage, they showed me there is zero corrosion on the wires and tie-rod is perfectly fine. What was damaged was the ball joint.
So basically he wanted to charge me for something he did not even look at.
I called the customer support and they told me that this was noted down but there won’t be anything I will be informed of once they “verify” with the dealer.
I am speechless .

I bought a 2024 Nissan pathfinder and a few months later, the air conditioning unit needed to be replaced, took 2 months to get it fixed.it was during summer, then it happened again in may 2026, and have been waiting for parts for another 2 months, also, summer time, customer service is very poor and no communication, would not recommend to buy from this company again
I wish I could give them negative…
I wish I could give them negative ratings.
I recently had a very frustrating experience at North Vancouver Nissan dealership trying to get my car serviced, which is still under its one-year warranty.
My car's steering wheel has been off-center for quite a while, and this was actually the second time I brought it in for this issue.
Their 'professional opinion' this time was that this amount of being off-center is 'absolutely normal!!!!'
They have zero customer service.
From the moment I arrived, I felt pressured into potentially paying for diagnostic fees without any clear guarantee that the issue would actually be fixed.
To make matters worse, I was told I could have been charged a fee just for a basic test drive, though they CONDESCENDINGLY told me they waived it 'this time.'
The whole process felt needlessly difficult and dismissive.
This experience has completely turned me off from the brand. At the very first opportunity I get, I will be getting rid of this car. I will never buy another Nissan and will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.
My 2025 nissan rogue died while driving…
My 2025 nissan rogue died while driving on a hwy at a speed of 120kms. I was barely able to save me and family's life due to sudden loss of power. Long story short the vehicle was towed to the dealership and after 7 days they informed me that engine had seized due to technical fault. I have been calling dealership and Nissan Canada everyday for a loaber or a rental but they keep saying the matter has been escalated. Dealer Centennial Pkway hamilton says they are waiting for approval and Nissan canada says it is the dealer who has to decide. I have lost total trust in this company and they are selling a piece of junk to unsuspecting customers. The callous attitude of customer service reps smacks of arrogance and insensitivity. PLEASE NEVER EVER THINK OF BUYING THIS BRAND. STAY AWAY
STEER CLEAR. NISSAN IS A DISASTER.
Unfortunately, there is no zero. DO NOT BUY A NISSAN!! Not even three years in and rust has developed and is spreading on my Kucks. Nissan Canada would not help nor would the store manager in Burlington. Manager tried to pin it on stone chips and moisture. A true salesman offering repair at my expense and ready to rip you off at any cost. A one time courtesy denied by Nissan phone rep who ironically kept apologizing! They would not even provide a $20.00 touch-up pen. No accountability or ownership. Poor service initially from sales associate. Nissan, coach your employees and do better. I hope this deters a few from purchasing your low end cars that rust within a few years!
Nissan customer service experience
I leased a 2026 Nissan Kicks S fwd in December 2025.
In middle of March 2026 I noticed a crack in the lower driver side of my windshield thinking probably a rock chip..So went to a glass shop they checked it and told me it was a pressure crack not from a rock..Then went to the dealership were I leased it (Northside Nissan Edmonton) they checked it and confirmed it was a pressure crack..Took pictures and started a work order for a warranty claim..So far its been about 10 weeks and only had communication twice from the dealership only because I messaged them several times..Finally got tired of the dealership and contacted Nissan Canada customer service but only got the same run around they told me on May 28th 2026 would contact me WITHIN 5 business days we’ll here we are 6 business days later on 3rd June 2026 and no communication from Nissan Canada customer service either..So much for great customer service
Was having problems with my 2022…
Was having problems with my 2022 Frontier due to transmission issues
This is a know issue with the Frontier and Nissan know this but will not do anything about it
Took the truck to Plaza Nissan and they flushed and changes a parking brake pawl .
This was just the start of the issues with the transmission. Once it heats up it won't go into drive or reverse
This dealership wants 22k for a new transmission , then suggests I buy a new truck instead.
Took it further to Nissan Canada and they also won't help . While thing s smells of a money grab.
This is my 3 Frontier over the years and I won't buy Nissan again. Nissan has no loyalty at all.
Stay away from their products , they stand by nothing
