Packages arriving empty, and no help from Intelcom

We ship a large volume of packages across Canada with Intelcom, but lately we’ve had a serious and recurring problem. Several of our shipments routed through their GTA facility have reached our customers with the product missing from the box. Each time, tracking shows the package as delivered and Intelcom has proof of delivery, so we end up refunding the customer out of pocket.

The pattern is consistent enough that we believe our packages are being identified and opened somewhere in their handling process. When we reported this to Intelcom and asked them to investigate, they dismissed our concerns entirely. Because there’s proof of delivery, insurance claims are denied as well, which leaves us with no recourse.

If you ship anything of value, be aware that a “delivered” status doesn’t mean your customer received the contents, and don’t expect support if something goes wrong.

Driver reports delivery made though never attempted

For the upteenth time amazon sent notice that the courier had delivered my parcel (via intelcom.) After searching for it in my building several times and checking the building next door where this courier has previously and for reasons never explained, dropped my parcels a half dozen times, it seems once again ( far from the first time a delivery was reported but never undertaken) that the driver hadn't even attempted my delivery but reported that he had ??? the parcel is still in their warehouse and MAY be delivered today.

THE worst courier company out there.

THE worst courier company out there.
So, Amazon deals with this clownshow. Most likely due to the fact that they probably underbid everyone due to exploiting the TFW program and hiring nothing but PR chasers who work for low wages.
This is far from the first time I’ve had negative dealings with this company. And I know I’m not alone. Going through the reviews, you see so many fake ones.
My first experience was a couple of years ago where they lost over $2,000 in Christmas gifts. It took almost a month to get it sorted out. Intelcom repeatedly told me they were making delivery attempts. When I finally got a straight answer (form all the lies being told) it turns out they were trying to deliver on the American side of the Sault-Michigan border to a street address in the US that was the same as mine. 6 hours away. In the States. Which means they couldn’t get the parcel across the border as it wasn’t set up that way in the shipping process. Eventually Amazon stepped in and wrote the package off and refunded me. So, all the gifts for Christmas were delivered late.
Today, I try to track a package. The delivery date has changed 4 times. Turns out…Intelcom can’t track the package. While Amazon has placed an Intelcom tracking number on it, Intelcom can’t track it. Why? Because apparently, it was never scanned into their system. Amazon scanned it out, but Intelcom didn’t scan it in.
So, now they can’t find it. Typical.
Worst company. I would never use them if Amazon gave options.

What is this company smoking

What is this company smoking. Constant delays in my orders and customer service is useless. Can’t find where my packages are and have been delayed for a week now. Terrible company with terrible drivers. This is getting ridiculous.

Intelcom/Dragonfly: The Fly-by-Night Delivery Service

I wondered where my order from Birkenstock.ca was last night, so I looked up the tracking number only to find that Intelcom declared the parcel as having been delivered. After much searching this last night and this morning, I found A parcel––just not MY parcel. The driver dropped said parcel off underneath the front walkway to my door by my garage. It is a good thing the misdelivered parcel was wrapped in plastic because it rained on all night!! This is more than a simple misdelivery––the delivery person proved themselves to be wholly incapable of doing their job. Intelcom dropped yet another parcel nowhere near my front door. Yes, that's right––this is not the first time I have found an Intelcom/Dragonfly delivery in weird locations other than my front door. I've found Intelcom/Dragonfly delivered parcels that had been flung into various parts of my front garden or, my favourite, alongside my garage underneath a stack of lumber.

Intelcom customer service was a bust (little wonder they have a 'please be courteous to our agents' message when one calls them), citing 'you will have to make the report with the sender', which I have. To start with, it is a challenge to even find the contact number for Intelcom customer service. When I did speak to an agent, it took her four times to understand my original tracking number correctly. When the tracking details were finally sorted, Intelcom customer service offered NO provision for correcting the misdelivery.

If I had known this order would be sent by Birkenstock using such a fly by night operation as Intelcom, I would not have made the order with them. Now we have to take time out of our busy day to drop the misdelivered parcel off to the poor person (who thankfully isn't too far away) that is likely missing HER parcel. Intelcom/Dragonfly has repeatedly proven itself incapable handling the contracted deliveries in its care. Use Intelcom/Dragonfly for deliveries at your peril.

Abysmal customer service

Abysmal customer service, very rude agent, deliveries keep being redirected to the wrong address and team will not address the situation. Instead they ask that I call them for each delivery to have them amnually reenter my location. Lack of accountability.

After over a thousand deliveries over…

After over a thousand deliveries over the last four years at exactly the same address, I started getting a bad address notification and a retry delivery a day or two later at least once or twice a week. This is a driver issue not an address or instruction issue.

Intelcom is a horribly run company

Intelcom is a horribly run company that never delivers packages on time and has horrible customer service. Their drivers also routinely lie about attempts made to deliver packages. Amazon should be ashamed for using their services. The only reason they’re still in business is most likely because they pay their workers so bad. I recommend most people call Amazon and tell them to flag Intelcom as an untrustworthy carrier.

Horrible Intelcom/Dragonfly experience

I had 3 orders I made on September 28, 2026 (1 in the first, 1 in the 2nd, and 6 in the 3rd) it was supposed to be next day delivery (Sept. 29 2026) and it is now October 7 2026. The postal code was incorrect, but the street address was correct. I called in a requested the postal code change (because T5G is Edmonton, and mine is T2G in Calgary). Since then they scan, but do not assign to a driver. It just keeps happening and they keep saying they emailed the warehouse and escalated it to higher ups to make it right. Then when I follow up they say it will be the next day...but it never happens. Now they have lost one of my packages and no one there gives a shit, and once again the other 2 I have to wait 24 to 48 hours because they "emailed the warehouse". They do not allow transfers to a supervisor. They are copy paste b.s with the answers and ZERO follow through, as it is now day 9 from the day of the order. This is pathetic, and never have I had this horrible of a delivery, or customer service.

Not once have I not received a package…

Not once have I not received a package in 14years. One time they delivered to my upstairs neighbour who also ordered stuff, I still got my package. Recently another company was used for delivery by an Amazon seller twice; both times my package just vanished from my in front of my door after they delivered with no updates by email or calls. JUST SAYING DELIVERED. INTEL calls and emails me, give updates on delivery with a time to be home to make sure you get your stuff etc.

Absolutely garbage courier

Absolutely garbage courier. Can't find any address. You can text a ping if exact location and they still can't find it

They'll try they next day but won't call or text and will just send an email saying they can't deliver when delivery wasn't even attempted.

I called and change and updated everything...still didn't work. They have no understanding of the area or how Google maps work. Pay for 2 day deliver to have it delivered in 5 days is absolutely trash

This is beyond incompetence

This is beyond incompetence
For the second time now, I have wasted an entire day trapped in my house waiting for a package, only to watch the tracking status flip to “delivery attempted” literally two minutes before the driver’s shift ended. Nobody knocked. Nobody rang the buzzer. Nobody even set foot on my street. The driver simply fabricated an "attempt" so they could clock out on time without having to do their job.
After speaking with neighbors and other customers, it turns out this isn’t bad luck—it’s standard operating procedure. Your business model relies on blatant lying, zero accountability, and burning your customers' time with complete contempt. If your drivers don’t feel like delivering packages, find another line of work, because you are utterly useless at this one. Zero stars.

Liars and Thieves

After multiple calls trying to locate my package, they have apparently "lost" it and tried to pass the blame and responsibility to myself and the vendor. One of their employees are either incompetent or is a thief. Why they don't investigate and screen people they hire is beyond me. Ridiculous, irresponsible, and disgusting!
