If I could give a 0 I would. By far the worst company to go through for internet. One of there is a cloud in the sky it doesn’t work. Two if you use up your amount they make you pay more to get your internet working again. Three they force you in a contract so when you figure out that the internet is horrible you are stuck or they make you pay a large amount to cancel. That also includes if you are moving. After canceling they make you get the equipment yourself and send it back. Then they charge you and try to claim you didn’t return the equipment and don’t notify you of any issues they just charge your account. I happen to have proof and they said it would take 7 to 10 business days to get our money back. This place is nothing but a scam. I highly advise not to use them.

Excellent customer service and support. Employee was knowledgeable and so very helpful.

So far, my experience has been great. When I called about a minor problem the agents I spoke to, Ozie (that maybe misspelled) and Julia were so knowledgeable and explained in a way I could understand.

Getting answer to data usage was quick as was upgrading our plan. Upgrade was to be provided within 24-48 hours, but was almost immediate.

Customer service agent was excellent! I appreciated not having to respond to an AI robot who couldn't help me and was especially glad not to have to talk to someone in a foreign country with a heavy accent that I couldn't understand like way too many other companies have and mistakenly call it customer service/ Kudos to Hughesnet!

Long phone conversation but problem was resolved without a service visit to residence.

For the rural mountains with no cable Hughes is great for Internet and phone.

I have had a great time with my Internet connection with Hughesnet, the connection is great.

Disappointed that my ability to temporarily suspend service is limited. I have been a customer for over 20 years, and it is frustrating to have to pay for service when I am away from my summer home and can’t use it during the long winter months.

The man I worked with was patient, frienly and knew the answers to my questions. He is the kind of employee that I prized when I ran a service company decades ago.

We liked Hughesnet just fine, we simply got a better deal for tons more gigabytes that was needed for our dishtv.
