About Upgraded
Written by the company
Hi 👋 We’re Upgraded!
The easiest, most affordable way to get the latest MacBook with low monthly payments, AppleCare+ protection, and an option to upgrade every two years.
How does it work?
We spread the cost of a brand-new MacBook and AppleCare+ over 36 months:
After 24 payments, you can upgrade to a new MacBook, or keep paying all 36 months to own your device outright.
How does upgrading work?
- After 24 payments, pick your new MacBook. We’ll ship it to you.
- Transfer your data from the old device to the new.
- Return your old MacBook in our prepaid box.
- Once we confirm it’s in good shape, we cancel your last 12 payments and start you on a new set of 36.
What if I don’t want to upgrade?
No problem! Just complete all 36 payments and the MacBook is yours.
Why choose upgraded?
Some folks want the convenience of upgrades on autopilot, some just want low monthly payments. We're happy to have you either way.
How do I get started?
- Head on over to our site! The first step of checkout is a pre-qualification with no impact to your credit score.
- See your exact monthly payment before committing.
Who’s the lender?
Affirm handles the lending side. We picked them because they make things easy to understand and easy to manage—just like we aim to do. Also, they have no late fees and no hard credit checks. So good.
Why did you start Upgraded?
Because we wanted a MacBook Upgrade Program for years, but no one was building it!
We’re a team of designers, developers, and creators. Like you, the devices we use make us more capable, more creative. Superhuman.
We believe choosing the right tech should be exciting, not complicated. It should fit your needs, your workflow, and your budget. No confusing financing. No trade-in headaches. Just a better way to own the right device -- whether new, used, or refurbished.
We don’t have the perfect system yet, but we’re building it.
Honestly, we see a massive opportunity to create a better kind of consumer electronics retailer. One that speaks clearly, treats customers with respect, and makes the best new and used devices more accessible than ever.
Please choose us for your next purchase and help us build something great. 👊

They closed down
Wtf. They discontinued their service and I can no longer upgrade my macbook.
Poor Customer Service
Not sure what is going on with this company. I am existing customer. Very satisfied with initial experience with my MacBook Air m3. Currently company for some unknown reason has freeze on additional orders with their computer supplier. Not getting any responses to my email inquiries. At this point wanting to get information for leaving this program after obligations are met.
Best way to buy Apple Devices!
Easy Process. Delivery took a bit longer than expected but was able to reach out to service, and they were able to inform me what the issues were.
My second purchase with them
My second purchase with them, and this time I brought friends. I don’t see any other way of buying a Mac that makes more sense.

I had order an iPad pro M5 and it show the delivery date after few days. I end up getting after my travel vacation which was 3-4 weeks after placing an order. But since I got too late would like to return as I found out this is too big iPad and just being 14 days since It got delivered. But Upgraded policy very strict that made me no choice to keep the product. This is my first and last time buying product from here as I learned my lesson. I do recommend other not to purchase from here or you will lose the money from the time you open the box. Fact that I waited almost month to get my iPad delivery they denied to take my return as I felt it doesn't fit my need.
Great Service, Variable Shipping Times
The service they offer is great, and they have fast ticket response times. My only concern was around their distribution network. Because they are using a distributor and not actually ordering direct from Apple, things that have next day delivery at the apple online store are backordered 2-3+ weeks when ordered through getupgraded, especially if it's a brand new product being launched.
100% On Point!
The ordering process was straightforward and dead simple. I was able to select exactly the build that worked for me, and place an order simply. The delivery service was great, and my Macbook was delivered quickly.
Excellent Customer Service
I appreciate how the Get Upgraded customer service team stayed in touch, and provided updates about the delivery of my MacBook Air M5. Thank you.
Slow shipping and little communication.
Only experience I’ve had with them so far is waiting on a MacBook to be shipped. Was told a shipping date of March 13-20 and still nothing and this is for a stock MacBook, nothing custom made. The communication isn’t the best, I have to bug them in order to get a response. Some kind of timeline would be helpful other than “the distribution company is backed up” I’ll give them two stars for the ease of signing up and ordering.
