I was looking for a bike I can use for commuting (24 km per day). It only took 5 days for the ordered bike to arrive at my address in Germany. Sadly the package was a little damaged and the bike has 3 spots where the thin paint is already scratched off. The saddle shows some wrinkles due to packaging which did not disappear yet (around 3 weeks later). Other than that the assembly went smoothly and the bike rides well.

There was no need for me to contact the support so far so I can't tell how good it is.

I would like to take a moment to genuinely appreciate Fafrees and especially Cici for the incredible support I received with my Fafrees F20 Pro.

I have dealt with an issue with my bike, and honestly, I have rarely experienced this level of customer service and after-sales support from any company. From the very beginning, the Fafrees team was extremely helpful, responsive, and patient.

Every time I reached out, I received a response within a day. Cici always tried her best to understand the issue and helped me in every possible way. Even when the problem required multiple discussions and solutions, she never made me feel like I was being left alone to deal with it.

What really impressed me was that Fafrees genuinely stood behind their product and continued to support me until a proper solution was found. The communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and I really appreciate the effort that Cici and the team put in.

I bought a brand new Fafrees FF20 CUV (30AH) cargo bilke to carry my two children to school. There is a big issue with the elecrical assitance on this brand new bike. The electric engine assistance helps when I start pedalling and then stops after a few seconds. I cannot ride uphill, it's exhausting. I have to use the breaks and almost stop the bike for the electric assistance to help again, and only for a few seconds. I am extremely disappointed.
Dangerous Motor Behavior: When I pedal, the motor does not provide smooth assistance. Instead, it suddenly delivers violent and unpredictable bursts of acceleration. This erratic behavior occurs randomly and causes a sudden loss of control, which is extremely dangerous in traffic.
Extreme Instability (Kickstand Defect): The dual kickstand provided is too narrow and fragile. When my children try to get onto the bike, it immediately tilts and falls over. The bike completely lacks the stability required for a cargo bike.
Frame & Riding Instability: When riding, the frame suffers from severe flex/torsion under load, making the steering highly unpredictable and unsafe.
The bike is completely unusable and dangerous.

I purchased the Fafrees F20 Pro because I was specifically looking for a compliant electric bicycle. I relied on Fafrees’ website, which presented the F20 Pro as an e-bike with a 250 W motor and a maximum speed of 25 km/h, referring to EN15194 and CE certification. The website also stated that a compliant e-bike would not require insurance, registration or a number plate.

Unfortunately, my experience in Denmark has been very different.

On 23 July 2026, I was stopped by the Danish police during a bicycle inspection outside my home. I was not riding on the road or sidewalk. The police placed my F20 Pro on a testing machine without me riding it, and it measured 25.8 km/h. They also identified the throttle/accelerator function, which allows the motor to propel the bicycle without pedalling.

The Danish authorities therefore classified the bicycle as a “lille knallert” (small moped). I received a DKK 5,500 fine relating to the requirements applicable to the vehicle under this classification.

I want to make this very clear: I never modified, tuned or altered the bicycle in any way. I used it exactly as it was delivered by Fafrees.

I also consulted a lawyer, who discussed my case with a Danish police prosecutor specialising in electric bicycles. According to the prosecutor, the classification and fine were based on the throttle function and the speed measured during the police test.

I was also warned that if I were stopped again while using the bicycle, it could be confiscated and destroyed because, according to the police, it is not lawful to use it in Denmark in its current configuration.

I contacted Fafrees directly and submitted a formal complaint with supporting documentation. More than 48 hours have now passed without receiving a response.
I am sharing my experience because I believe potential customers should be aware of what happened in my case.

If anyone is interested, I can provide documentation of my case, including the police fine and my original purchase receipt for the bicycle.

I hope Fafrees will take this situation seriously and respond.

I’ve buy a Fafrees electric VTT wich was one of the only one bike bellow 1000€ offer a total weight over 120kg ! And when I receive the bike I have the feeling that the quality is here ! The little thing that could be improved by Fafrees could be a faster expedition process or a least more information about the expedition process cause I juste have the information about the fact that it could take up to 13days but no more informations…

Dear Fafrees Team, I recently purchased the Fafrees F20 Flex and I think the bike is excellent. It is reliable, easy to use, and very well-designed… However, I would like to suggest an improvement. It would be very helpful if all spare parts such as batteries, brakes, internal hubs, electronic displays, and other replacement parts could be made available directly in the online shopping cart. That way customers could purchase them without needing to contact support… Thank you for your great work and I hope you will consider this suggestion

I ordered a bike from Fafrees that was in stock when I placed it. I was later told the last unit had "sold out" during a brief address verification window but I replied to that verification email within minutes, so the timeline doesn't add up.

When I pushed back and asked to find a solution rather than cancel, I was told I'd need to pay extra for a substitute model or the order would be cancelled. I made clear I wasn't willing to pay more for a problem that wasn't caused by any delay on my part.

Shortly after, I received a cancellation notice saying the order was "canceled at your request" — which is untrue, I never requested this. The same notice also contradicted itself: it stated my payment "has not yet been refunded," while the order summary beneath it listed both items as "Refunded."

I've kept the full email timeline as evidence and am pursuing this through Klarna's dispute process and the Financial Ombudsman Service. Be cautious with this seller, especially around stock accuracy and how cancellations are communicated.

Very fast shipment. Everything in excellent condition. Ebike works very well.

A great bike in a cool colour. Price very competitive. Delivery very quick and good updates on delivery time and tracking.

Avoid this company at all costs! Zero customer service and defective products.
I bought an e-bike from them, and it turned out to be completely faulty. When I reached out for support, I was stuck dealing with endless excuses, unprofessional responses (especially from their representative Cici), and zero real help. They dragged it out for months, refused to repair the bike properly, and now they are completely refusing a refund.
Taking customers' hard-earned money and leaving them stranded with broken products is unacceptable. Save your money, save your time, and do not buy from this company. Total scam!

Communication was good, bike arrived within a few days relatively easy to assemble. Brakes needed adjusting but once that was done everything has gone okay. I've had my Fafrees Hailong one now for a couple of months and I am absolutely delighted with it. I live in a hilly area and commute 13 miles to work 2 or 3 times a week it runs like a dream and I have got a lot fitter and my times have got quicker. The power assist is excellent and I still have 40% battery left when I get to work, it easily does the 27 miles to work and back.

Appears to be a good bike for the money, especially as got about 80 Euros off the price making it just over £500. The same model sells for £599 on AMAZON. Quite quick delivery. Easy assembly, though I don't think you could do it on your own! Only problem is I cannot seem to get the saddle to tighten up enough to stop it collapsing every time I ride it. It's a funny round headed screw and no matter how tight I think I have got it the saddle keeps collapsing when I am out for a ride. If it persists I will have no choice but to return the whole bike. The other thing against it is the weight! It is VERY HEAVY! I am 70 but quite fit and not that weak but this is a beast to move around and especially when you want to go up steps etc. Not really recommended for ladies and anyone that is not very strong!

Fafrees Flex
Hello, even in the lowest gear there is almost too much assistance—you find yourself forced to stop pedaling. It’s a shame the chainring isn’t larger, or the smallest cog a little smaller.

Hey Fafrees team, you guys did a fantastic job! The bikes ride great! They're easy to handle and anyone can understand. According to a friend who owns a metal fabrication business, the workmanship, especially the welds, is excellent. The bikes arrived pre-assembled within four days. Even for me, as a novice, putting them together was no problem!

The price was great!

Bought the F26 only a few weeks, nice bike so far.

A bit disappointed with customer services. I had not realised the bike doesn't have a chainguard so I'd like to have one installed. Local bike shops say it's an unusual design so they can't help. Fafrees customer services not helpful, just saying "the bike comes without chainguard" (yes I'd noticed, that's why I'm contacting you) and "we don't have a chainguard for this bike" - which I already know, but can they not provide specs on what I could buy for this bike?

I'd also like to install a front basket and the bike has a panel with 4 large screws. The basket on their website (around £100) does not seem to match that pre-installed panel on my bike - again, customer services are not helpful in confirming if that basket works on my model or not.

A bit frustrating and tbh now I wish I'd realised there was no chainguard and bought a different bike instead.

Last year I bought 2 Fafrees F20 pro E-bikes. After 12 months one the bikes got problems with the electric motor. After contact with the fafrees support team and sending a video they send me a new backweel without any problem.
Replacing the weel was very easy.
We are very satisfied with the bikes!!!!

Cici at Fafrees support helped me out when the basket on my Fafrees F26 Lasting became faulty. They couldn't send out a replacement immediately but she maintained contact.
The wait might have been about three weeks.

Received bike and it’s not working. Have emailed numerous times and no one is coming back to me to advise.
