DXO produces some of the best application for image post-production. PL10 has masking features on a par with LR, but it has superior RAW image conversion. They have upgraded their toning controls. Their use of Control Points and Control gradients are outstanding resources for image enhancements. Throw in the amazing NIK Collection and you have the best image post processing suite currently available. In my view, its only weakness is the absence of a generative remove tool. Hopefully that will be added in a future update.
Like the DXO PureRaw, but they do not make it easy to transfer from computer to computer as Adobe does, I have two separate heavy duty media computers in two separate states and a laptop. I am only using it one computer at a time, but again not easy to install the for use on different computers as Adobe does.

I had a problem with the integration of NIK components into Affinity. After contacting DxO helpline they solved my problem very efficiently. The support was really great.
Love the product. Been using it for a number of years. Works for me!
I am appreciative of the hoops DXO is jumping through, from helping someone new to editing to exploring a program error.
One of the most worthwhile purchases I made in the past few years which noticeably improved my digital photos was to buy DxO's PureRAW. I use it as a plug-in with Lightroom Classic. I really appreciate the time and care this company has put into testing a wide range of camera bodies and lenses to help users like me get better final results (lots less digital noise, greater sharpness).
New masks and IA functions seems very powerful. However I cannot fully use them as my laptop although recent and powerful does not have a sufficient graphic memory. The required specifications to correctly run Photolab 10 were not clearly expressed previous loading. I now limit the use of IA masks as they run too slowly.

I recently had trouble loading the software and i reached out for help, the response was quick and easy. It always great to be treated in a quick and well mannered way, it's what keeps us coming back. I love the software and hate not being able to use it

DxO produces outstanding photographic technology in my opinion (I would give them 5 Stars for their DXO Photolab Product as reviewed in June with a 30 day trial). Unfortunately, my subsequent understanding of their policies and how they apply them and communicate is deeply disappointing.
DxO has revised its public response to my review several times in the last few days. I cannot reasonably keep updating my review to reflect these changes, nor do I intend to. At this time, we have agreed to disagree on what we think is fair treatment of customers, and appropriate marketing language, and parted on reasonable terms, but I will no longer be a customer.
My advice to prospective customers: Before purchasing, ask an AI assistant to critically review DxO's published Terms and Conditions, refund policies, licensing restrictions, upgrade policies, and customer protections. Ask it to compare these policies with those of competing American software companies. Verify its findings against the original documents.
In addition, my original post here can be found on several public forums where others have had similar experiences. It is worth reviewing these forums prior to purchase as the the users of these forums provide great advice on how to navigate the policies/legal fine print of this company’s “Perpetual License.”
I will leave prospective customers to draw their own conclusions from these sources.

In general the AutoMasks works very well, but if they fail, I really miss the AutoBrush function that were in PL9.

Its good software. Definitely helps enhance photos. I usually make several variants, and then use them as layers in Photoshop until I get what I am after.

Great software, but I would have appreciated a heads-up on knowing beforehand that the use of AI components in DxO Photolab Version 10 would come with serious consequences for the PC configuration (e.g. graphics).

A great and complete information before bying.
A great product to enhance the quality of photos and a product that year by year update the quality and the use of DxO.

DxO Photolab's strength lies in its noise reduction capabilities and, since version 10, in its masking features as well. Its lens correction and lens-based sharpening is unmatched. Overall, DxO PhotoLab delivers very high-quality RAW conversion and produces excellent images.
But there are also a few areas that would need improvement. The most notable of these is the high hardware demand, which makes editing masked objects sluggish compared to other photo editing software (e.g., LR), even with extremely powerful hardware (GPU Nvidia RTX 5080). In addition, the availability of image enhancement tools (tone curve, HSL picker, fine contrast) for local editing (masks) would be highly desirable.
But all in all DxO photolab (together with Filmpack and Viewpoint) remains for me the best RAW-converter on the market.

DXO Pl 8 remains my favorite photo software. It is clear, intuitive and easy to use. Results can be perfect at times. Customer support is now more responsive and timely. I wish there were more detailed video tutorials available as in the past , easier to find, from DXO itself, not from unknown people on YouTube.
